The battle for the Head of House crown returned to the Arena on Day 29, and this time it was Chimsom Chuka who walked away with it. Speed, accuracy and a cool head under pressure carried him through four rounds of games and straight into the seat of power for the week.
The HoH challenge
Housemates opened with Double Up & Match, dashing between hula hoops to pick up coloured balls and place each one on its matching cone, with speed and accuracy deciding who moved on. The eight quickest through that round faced Roundabout, a balancing test that had Housemates racing across the Arena while juggling three balls at once, including an awkward figure-eight-shaped gym ball. From there, the four survivors — Chimsom Chuka, Sheba, Barry and Gerard — took on Roll A Point, rolling tyres through the scoring doors of an upturned house to rack up points, with only the two highest scorers, Chimsom Chuka and Gerard, making it to the final. That last round came down to piñatas, hidden keys and ten locked boxes — with just one holding the treasure. Chimsom Chuka got there first, unlocking the right box to claim the Head of House crown. Araga was the worst performer; however, Bells was disqualified and named Bench Warmer for the week.
Conspiracy Hour: An unexpected twist
Ahead of the Live Nomination Show, Big Brother called the House back for another round of Conspiracy Hour; after that came a twist. Every Housemate collected an envelope bearing their own name, then had to write down two Housemates they wanted to save from possible eviction — in total silence, with no one allowed to see what anyone else was writing. Housemates could save anyone except themselves. During the Live Nomination Show, each Housemate held up their envelope for the House to see, read out their two chosen names and explained their reasoning.
Who is safe and who's up for eviction?
Immunity this week belongs to Chimsom Chuka as Head of House, Abi as Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW), and Flora and Aikou as the Gambit. Chimsom Chuka used his HoH Veto save to protect Sheba as well. That leaves Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Gerard, Goddessa, Keivo, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Sultex, Temi Nkem, Tram and Yusuf facing possible eviction this week. As this week's Bench Warmer, Bells was automatically up for eviction.
