Omotola’s mother falls ill
Omotola’s mother had long been battling both health and financial troubles. Things worsened when Omotola disappeared without a word after Monalisa’s kidnapping. Fearing arrest, Omotola and Imafidon fled town, leaving behind only a note for her mother.
Heartbroken and consumed by worry, her mother fell into depression. One day, she collapsed and was rescued by a stranger who helped her recover. But her condition deteriorated soon after.
During a second collapse, she was found by Imafidon’s mother, who rushed her to the hospital. Doctors revealed she had suffered a heart attack and brain injury. Sadly, despite all efforts, she did not survive.
