With Esosa away, Ada’s old demons crept back in. Struggling with addiction and desperate for validation, she began to misuse drugs again, and the cracks started to show. When an impressed visitor praised the NGO’s work, Ada seized the moment to rewrite history, presenting herself as the mastermind behind the foundation’s success.
Soon, she went as far as rebranding herself as co-founder on the organisation’s website. Esosa noticed but brushed it off — unaware that her trust was about to cost her everything.
The downward spiral
Ada’s drug use worsened, fuelling erratic and violent behaviour. She lashed out at both staff and students, ruling the foundation with fear. Mismanagement of funds followed, and the once-thriving NGO began to crumble under her chaos. Now, as whispers spread, the question looms:
