Time to clear the air

Immediately after the live eviction, Kellyrae, the Mbadiwe Twins and Tjay had a conversation to clear the air. Recall that at the live show, Ebuka called Tjay out to explain certain comments he made, one of which was "Kellyrae is a snake". Tjay told Kellyrae that his comment was based on Kellyrae saying he loves the spotlight. In response, Kellyrae revealed that he is disappointed in Tjay as he holds Tjay in high esteem. Apologies were tendered and the men moved on.

Tjay's apology

During a townhall meeting initiated by Beta in the main lounge, Tjay took the opportunity to apologise to the Mbadiwe Twins and the entire house for his insensitive tribal comments. To reinforce his sincerity, Ben stepped in to plead on Tjay’s behalf, urging the housemates to forgive him. Despite the formal apology, Tjay was visibly shaken, engaging in several one-on-one conversations with different housemates to further clear the air. In a chat with Chekas, he was reassured that all was forgiven and advised not to dwell on his mistake. Later, Tjay confided in Handi, expressing his worry about being perceived negatively. This self-proclaimed love doctor is clearly rattled, leaving us to wonder if his actions will put him at risk now that nominations are about to resume.

Assurance and promises

The love story between Nelly and Sooj is unfolding faster than anyone expected. In a tender moment in the garden, Sooj made a heartfelt proposal to Nelly, saying, "In sickness and in health, I will stand by you. Do you agree to stand by me in those situations when the going gets rough. Do you promise to stand by me no matter the course?" Nelly wholeheartedly agreed, and as a symbol of his commitment, Sooj placed his great-grandmother's cherished necklace around her neck.
