The housemates spent the afternoon exchanging stories about their experiences and playing the broken telephone game, which was a mess of misinterpretations and pure entertainment.
The afternoon was filled with raw and vulnerable moments. Koyin confessed to Dede that he believed the Head of House game was a game of luck and that he was worried his mother would be upset with him for not winning challenges. He revealed that he had randomly packed his bags and lied to his mother, telling her he was going on a month-long project.
In another part of the house, Rooboy was talking to Zita about how he did not feel the need to lie to Ebuka and act like he did not like Thelma Lawson. He said their relationship was actually deep and that he would be avoiding her for a while.
The day also brought some awkward moments and a few life lessons. Bright Morgan talked about dating a younger lady in university, and he did not classify it as grooming. This was followed by an awkward moment when he tried to kiss Mide while they were dancing, but she moved away.
The housemates then settled into an intellectual conversation when Faith educated them on IVF, miscarriages, and how expensive the procedure was in Nigeria.
Dede also opened up about a vulnerable moment, saying that she regretted sharing too much because it had opened the floodgates to many questions about her private life.
When the Broken Telephone game ended, housemates gathered in the lounge to compare the original painting and what they were able to create based on the information they passed through each other. They went on to pass blame on each other, and no one was willing to own up to being the one who miscommunicated the information.
The game, however, was a perfect metaphor for their daily lives in the house and what had been a day of confusion, deep conversations, and a bit of chaos.
As the day progressed, it was clear that the housemates were not only navigating the game but also their personal feelings. From the emotional moments to the fun chaos of the games, the housemates continued to give us a day to remember.
