Last night couldn’t have ended without a massive shock. Biggie announced that housemates had been able to increase their prize money to N40 million, but some amount was also deducted (thanks to Joanna and Dede’s getaway enjoyment from picking the red telephone).
Housemates were in a mix of emotions because on one end, they increased their prize, and on the other, there were deductions for things they had no idea who enjoyed or when they were enjoyed. It was a stressful moment, and the housemates were left to wonder what they could have done to avoid it.
Amidst the chaos, some housemates were dealing with personal issues. Joanna, who received a warning from Big Brother about the kitchen, got to cleaning up, but she ended up in a minor disagreement with Sultana. The drama continued in another part of the house, where Kola genuinely apologised to Dede for his behaviour, but she gave him a cold shoulder and told him he had made his bed and now had to lie in it.
Kola, who seemed to be taking the cold shoulder hard, spoke to Imisi about the situation. He asked her what she would have done, and she immediately put herself in Dede's shoes and yelled up the stairs to him, just as he had asked, to show him that Dede's reaction was not that serious.
Early this morning, the rain brought a much-needed calm to the house. With the rain came chills, and Zita begged for Biggie to turn off the AC in the Head of House lounge.
While some housemates were relaxing, others were getting ready for the day. Joanna, Thelma Lawson, and Mide did their makeup and joked about how they had gone from a "soft look" to a full face beat.
Bright Morgan, in a show of love and devotion, made a nourishing breakfast for Mide, who was doing her makeup.
In the lounge, Faith, Rooboy, Kaybobo, and Kola were engaged in a deep and intellectual conversation about societal pressures, social currency, and social norms. Faith argued that societal norms were different in Nigeria and that certain things could not work as well in the country.
It was a well-articulated conversation that showed a different side of the housemates.
