Just after the party, Dede casually told Koyin that she misses her man. When Koyin pressed her to prove it by asking his birthday, she quickly replied “2 February.” She went on to add that she’s been missing him every single day of her life for the past six weeks.
Meanwhile, Doris was in the thick of her own drama and if you thought the party vibes ended with the music, Doris proved otherwise. She had a chat with Denari on the side and told him that everyone kept asking if things were all right between them.
When Denari confronted her about whether she had spoken to anyone, Doris said no. Before flipping it back on him, saying he needed to learn how to actually resolve conflicts because it wasn’t just her problem, it was their problem. Denari explained he preferred to stay quiet, but Doris wasn’t impressed, firing back that keeping quiet isn’t a style at all.
The tension escalated as Doris raised her voice, questioning how silence could solve anything. What started as a minor disagreement quickly turned into a fiery showdown. Denari scolded her for shouting, but Doris clapped back, reminding him that he’d recently called her selfish, which she found harsh, considering she’d been frying chicken and chopping peppers for him all week. Denari softened, saying he truly loves her and wants to be with her, but that she still needs to learn patience.
But Doris wasn’t only dealing with Denari. The gossip mill in the house had her fuming long before the party even started. Just before the party, she had already vented to Koyin about rumours swirling in the house. She claimed Dede was spreading that Doris called her “beauty without brains.” Doris denied it flat-out, saying she doesn’t gossip, and she addresses issues directly.
To back it up, she pointed out how she confronted Thelma Lawson during Nostalgia Week for sleeping instead of contributing to the wager, and also spoke up when Joanna addressed her in a way she didn’t like.
She added that there isn’t a single person in the house she hasn’t faced directly, adding that even Kola, who she called out over the whole Dede drama. Doris made it clear she’s not someone to back down or stay quiet.
From Owambe-level vibes on the dancefloor to confessions, clashes, and accusations, the party may have been lit; but the aftermath? That’s when the house truly caught fire.
