For some people, last-minute preparation is what helps them tackle tasks effectively. This week, Biggie's housemates fully embraced that approach, particularly during their Wager task preparations. The teams began putting in some effort yesterday, and by this morning, their plans were starting to take shape. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing.
Staying focused became a real challenge with the door swinging open every few minutes! Those trying to rehearse were at their wits' end, as constant interruptions drove them to distraction. Mide was visibly frustrated and shouted out her exasperation at the disturbances. Eventually, she and Dede decided that their best option was to practice outside, as the interruptions had become too much to handle.
Yet it wasn't just physical interruptions that posed a problem. The kitchen continued to be a chaotic battleground. Joanna issued a fierce warning, declaring she wouldn't hesitate to fight anyone who touched her food. In a moment of honesty, Big Soso recognised that she often overdoes it in the kitchen, promising to only cook for herself from now on. However, that resolve was put to the test as she found herself cooking for everyone again! Dede also laid down some ground rules regarding bread, insisting that anyone who opened a loaf needed to finish it that day. Clearly, their mental focus was diverted from the wager task to managing these daily dramas.
The real tempest, though, revolved around regret. Kola confessed that his kiss with Isabella was just a spur-of-the-moment thing and that he had “messed up.” He lamented how it had soured his week. When he turned to Imisi for support, she wasn’t having it. She accused him of having wanted the kiss too much, prompting Kola to express his hope that Dede could forgive him. Imisi, however, didn’t believe Dede was all that concerned, claiming she had someone waiting for her outside the house. This sparked a funny exchange where Kola tried to defend himself by stating that the kiss "wasn't even long," while Imisi retorted, "It lasted for a minute!" Kola even resorted to counting to back himself up. Later, he confided in Zita, saying he was completely confused about what he was thinking at that moment.
As the drama unfolded, Jason Jae found himself venting to Sultana and Big Soso about the incessant gossip among the housemates regarding his friendships with various ladies. He expressed his frustration, noting that even a simple conversation with a girl could lead to wild assumptions. "It's not my fault," he insisted. Sultana chimed in, mentioning that even the most attractive woman can feel jealous. Jason Jae's lighthearted response was, "She can be jealous in peace."
Just when we thought the situation couldn't get any more intense, Victory, Rooboy, and Kaybobo erupted in anger at Sultana for frying fish. And in classic reality show fashion, Kuture was the one to spill the tea! It’s clear that gossip and food drama reign supreme in this house.
Despite all the turmoil, some housemates are trying to pull it together. Thelma Lawson, Tracy, and Koyin were spotted discussing the makeup for their upcoming presentation, proving that not everyone is lost in the chaos.
With all this unfolding drama, one can't help but wonder: will their presentation turn out to be a masterpiece or a total disaster? Only time will tell.
