The women in the Show Ya Sef house are making their mark this year. For the third week in a row, a woman takes the reign as Head of House (HoH) in the Big Brother Naija S11 house. This week, it’s Abi taking the dream from Chimsom Chuka, who has now come second two weeks in a row.
Biggie brought a twist to this week’s Live Nominations. The housemates were told in the Arena that all of the people in the winning team would win immunity. However, during Live Nominations, Biggie told Abi in the Diary Room that she has to give up three names from the winning team that would be up for eviction.
The HoH Challenge
Abi, Ricky, Tram and Chimsom Chuka were battling it out in the semi-final round. They had to complete a puzzle and paint a sunflower. Abi and Chimsom Chuka outlasted the other two. They had to compete in the final round, with the memory game called “Copy and Paste”. The housemates with the most correctly positioned images, would win the challenge.
Chimsom Chuka tried to keep up with Abi’s game, but in the end, she won the HoH crown. He did however, win immunity for coming second during the HoH Challenge.
Nomy had to sit it out
Nomy walked into the Arena late. Therefore, when it was her turn to compete in the first round of games, Biggie told her to sit the challenge out. It was her punishment for not adhering to the rules of being punctual when Biggie calls.
Conspiracy hour with a twist
The winning team (Abi’s team) had ten minutes to conspire which two people from the losing team they would want to save. After that, each person of the winning team had to vote for two people from the losing team to stay – they would be safe from Nominations.
Their collective votes saved Bells and Bluethopia.
A curveball thrown at the HoH
Abi had to use her HoH Veto power and replace the housemates her team had saved, with 3 housemsates from her own team. She chose Aikou, Araga and Yusuf.
Who is safe and who will be up for evictions?
With nominations complete, Aikou and Flora (the Gambit) are safe from eviction this week. They are joined by Abi, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba and Sultex who earned immunity as the Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW),
That leaves the remaining housemates facing possible eviction.
