Honesty is definitely the Saturday Night Turn Up aftermath policy, and this week was no different. After a wild night of music, dancing and plenty of chemistry, conversations in the house turned candid.
Dede and Koyin, who were noticeably missing in action during the party, used the cool-down to speak about Imisi. While Dede admitted she couldn’t understand why people assume Imisi acts with intention, Koyin suggested that some of her moves may actually be part of a strategy. Still, both agreed that beneath it all, Imisi is a gentle soul.
Elsewhere, Imisi and Kaybobo gave us some light-hearted friendly vibes. Kaybobo jokingly set out on a mission to “shoot his shot” with a housemates, only for him to quip: “I don’t shoot my shot, the shots come to me.” Their banter didn’t end there. Kaybobo pressed her about why she spends so much time with the guys and who her real crush might be. Imisi eventually admitted that things with Kola have been tense, and she has been giving him space. Still, she values his friendship and the way he cares for her. Their tension began after Kola mentioned that Dede had pointed out how much time he spends with Imisi.
Now, Imisi says she doesn’t want to risk sabotaging her three closest friends in the house – Kaybobo, Kola and Faith – who are all exploring other connections. For her, hanging out with the guys simply makes her laugh.
Meanwhile, Faith showed his caring side with Joanna after the party. The two bonded over ice cream in the kitchen, sharing stories about childhood memories and adult responsibilities. Their cosy moment was briefly interrupted when Jason Jae swooped in, lifting Joanna from the fridge like a knight in shining armour. The undeniable chemistry between Jason Jae and Joanna on the dance floor might explain why Faith suspected Joanna could be disappointed by his quieter party presence, as parties aren’t really his scene outside the house. Joanna, however, drew her line clearly, saying: “I individually like all my friends," which many took as a polite way of friend-zoning Faith.
Jason Jae and Joanna ended up proceeding to bond in the closet, with Jason Jae affirming that Joanna will be in the house while Faith was in court with Tracy, affirming that he is not interested in getting to know Tracy. He is clear that they are not fighting, but he does not want to use his energy in getting to know her.
As the dust settles on another unforgettable Saturday night, questions linger: will Jason Jae and Joanna’s chemistry grow into something more, and can Imisi and Kola resolve their tension before it derails their friendship?
