It was a lively day, although riddled by anxiety, in the Big Brother Naija house. The day was filled with drama, which spiced up a number of interesting conversations as the housemates prepared for the diary sessions and the looming live show.
Wanni took a moment to make amends with Onyeka. She approached Onyeka to apologise for how she had treated her when Onyeka shared her thoughts on Wanni’s relationship with Sooj. Wanni admitted that her (over) reactions were often fueld by her own personal trauma, which often leads her to compulsive responses.
Onyeka, in turn, shared that she also has her own traumas and explained that she had been trying to look out for Wanni, feeling that she might have been moving too quickly with Shaun and "doing too much." Wanni then took the opportunity to explain her own perspective on the relationship, aiming to clear the air and move forward. Onyeka had opened up to Handi about her feelings towards Wanni and where they currently stand after the Saturday night gbedu.
Watch Onyeka and Wanni iron things out:
Eviction anxiety
Meanwhile, Shaun and Topher had a chat about the upcoming evictions. Shaun expressed his hope to stay in the house, while Topher acknowledged that everyone’s feeling the pressure this time around. Shaun also mentioned to Chizoba that her sister isn’t up for eviction this week, which he saw as a bit of an advantage. He noted that this was his first time being up alone, which was a new experience for him.
In lighter moments, the housemates had some fun discussions. Chizoba was filing Ocee’s nails while they talked about talking stages – what they should involve, how long they should last, and what’s acceptable behavior during that time. They even speculated about Ben, noting an incident where he was seen holding Chizoba’s bum. Chizoba quickly dismissed the speculation, telling everyone to leave her and Ben alone.
All is well in Sollyville
Nelly and Sooj shared some personal stories about their families, with Sooj expressing a desire to meet Nelly’s mom soon. It was a sweet moment that offered a glimpse into their lives outside the house.
