Team Meat-Based Diet stole the show in tonight’s wager presentation, impressing Big Brother with their well-researched points, confident delivery, and even sharper outfits. The result? A well-deserved wager win – and the prized privileges of managing Saturday’s shopping list and, more importantly, running the kitchen next week.
Big Soso couldn’t contain her excitement, declaring “my kitchen!” as she ran back into the house, clearly ready to reign as the culinary queen. The celebration was pure joy, the kind you’d expect from kids unwrapping their favourite Christmas presents. Kuture, in full belly-rubbing mode, shouted “look at your dinner” to Imisi, perfectly capturing the mood after a week of hunger games. Biggie even amped up the vibes with a hype track to keep the party going
But while Team Meat-Based Diet was busy celebrating, Team Plant-Based Diet was left dissecting their loss. Otega, Gigi Jasmine, and Rooboy found themselves questioning where it all went wrong. The now-infamous “mad cow” comment came under scrutiny – Big Brother noted the disease is extremely rare and irrelevant to the debate, making it a poor point to raise.
Rooboy asked who had brought it up, and Gigi Jasmine pointed to Doris, saying she’d meant to “throw shade,” but the jab might have cost them the win.
Doris, however, had her own theory: she blamed the team’s tendency to read directly from notes. Gigi Jasmine and her singled out Sultana for speaking too softly while reading, prompting Otega to caution against finger-pointing. Whether these honest conversations will happen openly between them remains to be seen.
On the winners’ side, Danboskid and Tracy earned special praise from Biggie for standout performances. Hyped up by Zita, Danboskid jokingly claimed, “I’m their daddy,” for being the only housemate in both teams to avoid reading directly from a script. Faith received his flowers from Biggie for his brilliant presentation and even got a special celebration from his teammates, who lifted him into the air.
For now, the kitchen still belongs to both teams, but not for long. Once Team Meat-Based Diet officially takes over, they’ll call the culinary shots. That might be bad news for Isabella, who has made her protein needs very clear. Rooboy tried convincing his team to honour the winner’s rules, while Isabella herself agreed, but still insisted on getting her protein fix. Will the new kitchen generals bend to her demands, or will it be “winner’s rules only”?
If history is anything to go by in Biggie’s house, food power often leads to food wars. With the new regime in the kitchen, the next few days could be… spicy.
