It was a spectacle of a launch show as the much awaited Big Brother Hotshots began last night.
IK started off the show with an eye-catching performance. Then, each contestant put on a little performance where they showcased their skills.
Biggy, who loves surprises, gave the audience the power to vote for each of the Housemates' performances.
Little did they know that they were actually going to decide who the first HoH would be.
First to enter the house was Frankie from Rwanda, who showed off his vocal skills. He was not the only one who chose to sing; Kacey, JJ, Esther, Tayo, Permithias, Trezagah, Ellah, Alusa,Samantha, Sheilla, Sipe and Macky 2 all chose to show off their singing talents.
On the other hand, some chose to recite African-inspired poetry like Butterphly, Mr. 265, Resaand Nhlanhla.
Luis decided to show off his six pack and make the ladies go wild.
Sabina and Arthur made the crowd crack up with laughter.
M'am Bea did something unique, showing off her styling talents by dressing up a mannequin on stage.
Goitse, Lillian and Idris decided to show off their dance moves.
As we got introduced to the housemates Sabina kept a lead on the score board that is untilLaveda knocked the ball out of the park with the help of her saxophone.
The Tanzanian beauty was later awarded the HoH title in the house when Biggy made the announcement.
This means that Laveda is the only Housemate safe from elimination on Sunday.
Once in the house, Housemates didn’t waste time as they got to know each other better.
Lillian got the pots going by whipping up a pasta dish with the help of her fellow Housemates, while we saw some early chemistry between Macky 2 and Esther, Lillian and Frankie and Tayo and Laveda. Could this be the start of some Hotshot couples? Stay tuned in to find out.
