Despite the global health threatening challenges that forced us to remain on our toes, it’s been an awesome season of entertainment and judging by how amazingly responsive you guys have been, there’s definitely a new-found appreciation for the arts. While we’re waving goodbye to some of the shows that brought the party to our living rooms and those that kept us at the edge of our seats, the following new shows are being perfectly crafted in our brewing room:
As the name suggests, Love Come Back, to be hosted by none other than Naija’s captain quest and Tinsel bae, Ibrahim Suleiman, seeks to reignite the glowing splinter that once existed between now estranged lovers. While there’s no ‘how to’ manual on fixing relationships and eliminating wedges, Ibrahim will use a series of challenges and some carefully curated steps to help reconcile the parties involved. Love Come Back premieres on August 2nd, at 18:30, on AM Showcase.
From fixing love to finding love, Date My Family Nigeria makes a much-anticipated return. We had so much fun watching suitors try to pin the face to the food while the hosts tried to market their singles to a beautiful sunset where they’d be single no more.
We're still navigating the city to find the most eligible singles so nope, e no pass you by o! Make sure you’re part of season 2’s success stories by curating a 90-second-long video telling us about yourself, the families members you would like to have represent you and most importantly, what you seek in an ideal partner. Entries are to be E-mailed to [email protected] or via Whatsapp: 080 940 0138 9 by August 15th 2020. Sign up, and we might just find you the love of your life!
Last but certainly not least is the whopping 11th season of Jara. While we’ll be sticking to status quo and bring you the crème de la crème of Nollywood starts, we’ll be adding tatase to the soup and bring you newer and better count downs featuring your absolute favs. So join Uti and Helen on Wednesdays at 21:30 sharp, on AM Urban.
If it isn’t broken, why fix it… Right? My Flatmates, The Johnsons, Tinsel and all your fav AM shows remain intact for your viewing pleasure. So keep it locked on AM, for African entertainment, for Africans and by Africa… Oya, you are welcome!
