What's the way forward for the fan bases of the pairs?

Sunday night brought one of the biggest twists yet in the No Loose Guard season of #BBNaija – Biggie's unpairing of housemates! The shock hit housemates, fans, and even their management teams hard, leaving everyone scrambling to figure out how to move forward. With the fanbases built around each pair, the unpairing has caused a reshuffling of strategies. So, what’s the plan for supporting your faves now that they’re flying solo? Let’s break it down!

Aces
With no familial or deep emotional ties holding them together, the team behind Sooj and Topher has decided to let each housemate play their own game moving forward. The team will not officially support one over the other, which means that fans will need to choose for themselves who to back. Should both be up for eviction at the same time, it will be a battle to win the hearts of the fanbase they’ve collectively built. May the best Ace win!

Beta
The Beta pair may no longer be together, but that hasn’t stopped both Ben and TJay from shining individually. Their management team has announced that fans should support each of them as solo stars. However, there’s no word on whether one will be favoured over the other in case of a head-to-head nomination. In the meantime, Ben’s fans have united under the name Action Nation, while TJay’s supporters have formed the Tjarmy. If they ever face off, it’ll be a true "may the best man win" situation.

Chekas
Rumour has it that Onyeka is the favourite within the Chekas pair, but their team hasn’t released any official statement on how to handle the voting dynamics. This leaves Chizoba with a shot to win over fans should she find herself up for eviction alongside her sister. With both playing strong games, it will be interesting to see where the fanbase's loyalties lie as the season progresses.

DoubleKay
The DoubleKay duo has made it clear where their priorities lie. In an official statement from their management, it was revealed that Kellyrae has always been the focus of the team. Kassia, on the other hand, joined this season primarily to support Kellyrae’s dream. If both are nominated at the same time, fans have been urged to focus their energy on saving Kellyrae, which likely means Kassia will be playing second fiddle in terms of fan support.

Mbadiwe Twins
The Mbadiwe Twins are staying strong together—even if the unpairing has forced them to compete individually. Their team has emphasised that both Ocee and Ozee will receive equal focus, leaving it up to fans to make personal decisions on whether to split their votes or favour one twin over the other. The race between these siblings will be fierce, and with both competing at such high levels, fans are in for a tough choice when nominations roll around.

Watch housemates reflect on the unpairing:

Nelita
The Nelita pair’s team has issued an update urging fans to support both Anita and Nelly as individuals. Like most former pairs, there will be no official push from the team to back one over the other. When the inevitable happens and both land on the nomination block together, the fans will have to make their own choice about who to save. It’s all up to you, Nelita stans!

Shatoria
Both members of the former Shatoria pair are gunning equally for the prize. The team has kept things neutral, making it clear that no preference will be shown if both Victoria and Shaun are nominated at the same time. Fans will have to decide on their own who to back when the time comes for nominations—no pressure!

Wanni x Handi
Blood may be thicker than water, but in the Wanni x Handi camp, it’s clear where the loyalties lie. Their team came out and said that Wanni is the main focus moving forward. So, if both Wanni and Handi find themselves nominated for eviction, expect fans to rally behind Wanni to keep her in the house. Handi may have to rely on a more grassroots campaign to stay afloat.

With the unpairing, housemates are now left to navigate the game as solo players, and fans have to rethink their support strategies. Whether it’s backing one over the other in a former pair or splitting loyalties, the next few weeks will test fanbases' dedication and strategic thinking. One thing is for sure: things are about to get intense!
