Channel Closure

The Big Brother Naija Level Up Season, premiered with a Double Launch Show on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July 2022. The Show aired on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family channels. Additionally, the 24-hour Show was aired on channels 198 on DStv and 29 on GOtv. To cater to Biggie's worldwide fans, Big Brother Naija Season 7 was also streamed via the African online streaming service, Showmax.

When BBNaija Level Up came on our TV screens, we were introduced to a House with two Levels. This had never been done before so fans questioned how things would eventually turn out.

Trust Biggie not to slack! Everything turned out just fine. From Spicy drama on both Levels to all the action that took place whenever the Levels met, premium entertainment was served.

Now y’all know one channel was not enough for all the juicy gist from both Levels so Biggie made sure we got all the action with the introduction of channel 199. Well now that we have all the drama in one place, we would like y’all to know that we are going to be saying goodbye to DStv channel 199 and GOtv channel 8.

After the Eviction in Level 2 today, Biggie decided to spice things up by merging the Levels. That meant all the drama, gossip and fights would now happen all in the same House. (We can’t wait😜) Biggie informed Level Up Housemates about the big change right after the Live Eviction show. He said "starting from this very moment, the Levels are now scrapped. No more Level 1 or Level 2. This means you will be playing as one House. After all, there can only be one winner"

Farewell gist partner😥

DStv Channel 199 and GOtv channel 8, made sure we were not slacking on all the gossip. They gave that extra spice and boy were we entertained. So let’s raise a glass to DStv channel 199 and GOtv channel 8 🍷 and toast 🍾 to all the amazing memories it has given us.

The BBNaija Xtra channel on DStv and GOtv will close by 12:00 midnight WAT. See y’all on the other side.😊
