“When a woman understands how to run a home, she’s close to understanding the problems of running a business and a country”. Africa Magic recognizes and appreciates the contributions our leading ladies make to keep us afloat and have us retain our “best in the business” title. It’s Wednesday and we’re crushing on these 10 beauties.

The ever young Iretiola Doyle has anchored Tinsel for as long as we remember. Her unmatched industry experience and striking whit makes her one of the most respected faces of Nollywood – rightfully so. With a career that spans well over a decade, Ireti Doyle will take a role, refine it and serve it pepper hot… Don’t get us started on those ageless genes. We’re on serious crush mode here.

A fierce spirit housed in a petite body, Helen Paul is the epitome of fun and fabulous. We all know that everything is better with a feminine touch; Jara’s Uti would definitely agree. Having made her initial industry mark as a comedian and singer, Helen has the whole presenting thing on total lock down. It’s Helen baby, that’s right! We’re still crushing.

While we’re all simple tibia and fibula, Funke Akindele is all funny bone and accent tissue… we swear. The ‘Jenifa’s diary’ creative recently joined the Africa Magic fam as Vivian on ‘My Sibling and I’ and we’ve fallen flat in love. Clearly a jack of her trade, Funke has a whopping social media following and never fails to deliver. Totally crush worthy if you ask us.

If pure talent was equivalent to instant riches, Bikiya Graham would loan banks money sha! Her unapologetic interpretation of Battleground’s Hadiza has held us frozen for the longest time and we actually can’t keep up. We’re so fortunate to house motion content that she helps bring to life and for that reason and many other, we’re crushing hard!

Shafy Bello has caressed our screens several times; sugar and spice during her Tinsel days and all things nice on Battleground. Born and bred and in the United states, her take on the arts is a clear indication that she was toasted and buttered in Naija. We love how she can have us envy her glamorous life on and off screen. We’re totally crushing.

Africa Magic has been about plating relatable content and with through Ajoche, took the series life to a completely new level. We were then introduced to Lota Chukwu’s raw talent. She had us in emotional limbo for the longest time and whether we choose to admit it or not, Ajoche would be totally different without her. Crushing on our fave villain too?!

Ini Dima-Okojie is another force to be reckoned with. We know her as the sweet Teni on battleground but her new ummm ‘friendship’ with Tes shows another dimension to this sultry actress. Beautiful in both form and craft, she’s a definite crush.

Tora Olaila, Eku Edewor and Amira Ibrahim-Alfa make the list for their amazing skillset and flawless delivery on our home turf, 53 Extra. There three very different dimensions of talent and beauty have us glued to our screens and wanting more of that 53. Africa Magic really scooped the best in the basket and these three ladies are a definite ‘to watch’. We’re totally crushing.
