Following the temporary closure of the Treatz store, Margaret played a crucial role in rectifying the situation. She also catered to her staff and reassured them that their job loss would be temporary. Despite her tireless efforts, the store management still felt the need to bring in additional support.
In comes Nengi
Immediately she stepped into Treatz, there was an air of gloom and uncertainty as Nengi was a woman about her business! Unlike Margaret, who is friendly and calm and lets her staff work as desired, Nengi wants results and is a micromanager, even to Margaret, who remains the manager. Yet still, like the rest of the Treatz staff, she must be closely supervised by Nengi.
Unsurprisingly, working with Nengi, who shared an office, was a thorn in Margaret's flesh. She detested it because Nengi was uncollaborative. She made decisions and drew up rules without including Margaret, destabilizing the Treatz staff and Margaret.
You might wonder how Nengi has all this power. Her father is one of Treatz's most prominent investors, which explains her audacious nature and keenness to see things work efficiently at the store. Although Nengi's stern way of doing things is not loved by many, you can tell that she wants Treatz to succeed, and so does Margaret, who has been able to walk out of the several chaotic situations at Treatz unscathed. Who do you think is the better boss? Nengi or Margaret?
