The Contestants will be recreating performances that were simply magical and endeared them to fans.

We are close to the finale and as expected the Top 3 are expected to bring their A-game to the stage. This coming Sunday on Nigerian Idol, we are going to be getting a throwback of fave performances from this Season. The Contestants will perform songs from their favourite time on stage this Season as well as moments the Judges consider to be their best. Their third performance for the night will be songs they had performed with the choir during the third Live Show for the Season. Check out the songs below.

My favourite performance

Banty: ‘When I Was Your Man’ by Bruno Mars

Banty has chosen her performance of ‘When I Was Your Man’ by Bruno Mars as her favourite performance for the Season and will be performing it again on stage at the next Live Show. Missed Banty's performance at the Live Show? Watch below.


Progress: ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ by Sam Cooke

Progress is taking us back to his Theatre Week performance with the song ‘A Change is Gonna Come’ by Sam Cooke. He will be performing the song come Sunday as it is his fave performance for the Season. Watch Progress' previous Live Show performance below.

Zadok: ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’ by Michael Bolton

Zadok is bringing back soul with his performance of ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’ by Michael Bolton. He chose the song as his favourite from the Season and will therefore be performing it a second time on Sunday. Missed Zadok's performance from the Live Show? Watch it below.


Judge’s favourite performance

Banty: ‘Greatest Love of All’ by Whitney Houston

The Judges have come to the conclusion that Banty’s performance of ‘Greatest Love of All’ by Whitney Houston is their fave for the Season. So she will be performing the song as a second on the next Live Show. Watch Banty's first performance of the song below.

Progress: ‘Joy’ by Wizkid 

Progress’ performance of ‘Joy’ by Wizkid definitely resonated with the Judges because they have chosen it as their fave performance of his for the Season. This means he will get to perform the song again this Sunday. Wtch Progress' first performance of Joy below.

Zadok: ‘Soul Provider’ by Michael Bolton 

‘Soul Provider’ by Michal Bolton was definitely a hit performance by Zadok and the Judges feel the same way because they chose it as their fave performance for the Season. Banty: ‘Lean On Me’ by Michael Bolton

Progress: ‘Uncle Suru’ by Jon Ogah

Zadok: ‘Wish Me Well’ by Timi Dakolo
