Another weekend of musical performances is upon us and going by the song choices of this Sunday Nigerian Idol Live Show, we are in for an amazing time. This Sunday is all about the best of the Nigerian hits and as luck would have it, one of our judges will have one of her songs performed for her. We can't wait to hear her verdict.

Alright, let’s get right into it. These are the song choices slated for the third episode of the Live Show.

Akunna:

Loving Your Way by Seyi Shay

Following Akunna's amazing performance of Beyonce's ‘XO’, there's a lot of anticipation as to how Akunna plans to deliver this 2012 track especially since the song author, Seyi Shay will be sitting right there watching. Will she be loving her performance?

Beyonce:

Right Now by Seyi Shay

Having been commended on her progress so far, Beyonce has the chance to prove to Seyi Shay that she is capable of handling the responsibility that comes with performing her 2015 chart-topping monster track.

Clinton:

Reggae Blues by Harrysong

His performance of John Legend's 'tonight' was a huge hit, and we get to see him reprise that performance with Harrysong's Reggae Blues.

Comfort:

Duduke by Simi

Comfort gets a shot to birth an epic performance on stage as she performs this hit released by Simi in 2020 to describe her heartbeat for her unborn child. Will the fans' hearts beat for Comfort? Time will tell.

Daniel:

Good Morning by Brymo

Following up on his performance of James Arthur's 'Empty Space,' Daniel performs Brymo's hit single from the album #TheSonOfaKapenta. Hopefully, he will be able to win more hearts with his performance.

Emmanuel:

For You by Teni ft Davido

Emmanuel will have to capture the spirit of purposeful love as he performs this amazing collaboration by Teni ft Davido. Come Sunday, we will find out if the fans will be for him after his performance.

Faith:

Awele by Flavour N'abania Ft. Umu Obiligbo

Faith gets to provide his rendition of this beautiful track by the highlife hitmaker, Flavour N'abania Ft. Umu Obiligbo released in 2018. Will Faith be able to spice it up to perfection with the right amount of melodic highlife vibes and vocal range during his performance this Sunday? let's wait and find out.

Francis:

Ada Ada by Flavour N'abania

Francis is channelling Flavour N'abania this Sunday as he performs the hit song from the album "Blessed", released in 2012. After successfully channelling Sam Smith during his last performance, we expect great things from him.

Kingdom:

Aye by Davido

For his performance this Sunday, Kingdom will cover the chart-topping song by Davido from 2014. After doing justice to Teni's Uyo Meyo, we are excited to see what he has in store for another Naija hit.

There you have it! The hit songs our Top 9 will be treating us to this Sunday. We are already used to an exceptional level of performance and we can only hope that this Sunday, they take it up a notch.
