She who reigns supreme

This Sunday, Bonang turned 30 marking the occasion with a stunning snap that sent the Twitterverse into a frenzy. Indeed, as so many exclaimed, she doesn't look a day over 21! That said, take a moment to look past her ageless beauty and what you'll find is woman who's professional accomplishments are just as jaw dropping.

In another post, this time yesterday (June 28), Queen B* as she's affectionately known revealed that after nearly a decade of tireless work, she's officially a MILLIONAIRE! An impressive feat indeed and in a lot of ways a testament to the sleepless nights, victories and pitfalls overcome, that are part and parcel of the entertainment industry. She also debuted her very own emojis which you can read all about here.

With great wealth however, comes great responsiblity. She made headlines last year after announcing her very own bursary fund. She'd later reveal the names of 10, lucky young women who's tertiary studies she'd be paying for out of pocket. With the turn of the new year came news that she's also authored her first book, "From A to B" in addition to becoming the face of Ipanema, joining the ranks of super model, Gisele Bündchen.

The cherry on top was the announcement of her new Reality Show, "Being Bonang" which promises to give us a glimpse into the glamarous life of the notoriously, private star. It'll also be our first look behind the scenes since she wrapped her online, reality show, "B*Dazzled" four years ago. All things considered, it's becoming pretty clear why Bonang proclaimed 2017, "The Year of the Queen".

With every bold, business move she makes, this young woman is expanding upon an already formidable brand and entertainment company. She might be a Queen now but she's an Empress in the making. It's fascinating and inspiring to watch it all unfold and we can't wait to take an even closer look at how she pulls it all off. 'Being Bonang' premieres, 14 July on Vuzu Amp, Dstv Ch103.
