We’re getting on the Afrobeats train this week on Nigerian Idol. The Top 6 will be bringing fire 🔥 to the stage with the hottest Naija tunes on the airwaves and we know it's going to be a banger! Let’s dive right into what’s going to be popping on our screens on Sunday.

Banty: ‘Love Don’t Cost a Dime’ by Magixx Ft Ayra Starr

Banty will be giving us a good dose of energy with ‘Love Don’t Cost a Dime’ by Magixx, the new Mavin Records signee who is hot property at the moment. The song, which features label mate Ayra Starr, was released this year. Take a look at Banty’s previous performance below.

David Operah: ‘Woju’ by Kizz Daniel 

David Operah will be performing one of Kizz Daniel’s earliest smash hits ‘Woju’. The chart-breaking song was released in 2014 with a remix featuring Tiwa Savage and Davido released a year later. Watch David Operah’s previous Live Show performance below.

Faith: ‘Emiliana’ by CKay

Faith will be performing ‘Emiliana’ by global phenomenon Ckay. Emiliana was released in 2021 following the success of the smash hit ‘Love Nwantiti’. Watch Faith's previous Live Show performance below. 

Itohan: ‘Na Gode’ by Yemi Alade

Itohan will be popping with gratitude on stage as she will be performing ‘Na Gode’ by Yemi Alade on Sunday. ‘Na Gode’ which means “thank you” in the Northern Nigerian language of Hausa, was released in 2015. Missed her performance at the previous Live Show? Watch it below.


Jordan: ‘Anybody’ by Burna Boy

Jordan is going the way of the ‘African Giant' a second time. He plans to perform ‘Anybody’ from Burna Boy’s 2019 album African Giant. Watch Jordan's previous performance below.

Progress: ‘Bloody Samaritan’  by Ayra Starr

Progress will also be bringing the Mavin Records vibes on stage with his performance of Ayra Starr’s single ‘Bloody Samaritan’. Released as part of her EP ‘19&Dangerous’, Bloody Samaritan stood out as an anthem that would eventually go viral. Watch Progress' previous Live Show performance below.

Zadok: ‘Laye’ by Kizz Daniel
