Three seasons in and our ribs have been cracked good thanks to the comedy that only Naija’s finest dish. We don’t know how IK and DJ Sose do it sha, but we’re totally here for it.
While we absolutely LOVED all the guests on this season’s Comedy Nites, here are a few that get us every 👏🏽 single 👏🏽 time 👏🏽.

Dan D Humorous

If you’re not sitting awkwardly with your plate of garri rested on your lap, then stand up and help us applaud Dan Mr. Humorous, will you? E dupe! Not only did he paint the Comedy Nites stage with rib-tickling humour, but he also plays Dan on our week nightly My Flatmates. If he isn’t working on some potentially enriching political “pursuit” with his high-ranking friends, he’s trying to make a quick buck in the compound – and we’re here for it. Kudos to Dan, our favourite political satirist.

MC Pashun

Lets raise a glass of well-tuned palm wine to another one of our favourtite comperes and funny stage-men. 🥂 Known for his role as troublesome Titus on My Flatmates, MC Pashun pushes passion (see what we did there?) like none we’ve seen before. His comedy is so tight, he basically left the stage burning on this season on Comedy Nites. Wehdon sah!

Chigul

When we say “Chigul” you say “Oya, have our ribs Chigul.” 🗣... There’s absolutely no way we can talk about Naija’s finest comedians without mentioning Chigul, sha! Singing, acting, bombing ribs. Name it, she go do it! After gracing our big screens more times than we can count and making auditoriums raw with laughter, it’s safe say that she’s her own competition. Enjoy her accent-play as much as we do?

Senator Comedian

Abeg, make we create anthem for the honourable member of gag parliament! As you may all know, this man’s State is perfectly humourous and his citizens could only ever complain about sore ribs, because service delivery is his niche! Also a My Flatmates cast member, Senator comedian dishes comedy so amazing, he’ll be touring the UK for his ‘Most Distinguished’ tour. Possessing a resume so impressive, it’s no surprise that Senator left a furnace on the Comedy Nites stage this season. Osheeee sah!

 IK and DJ Sose

Ain’t no way we’re sealing the list without mentioning the men that hold the Comedy Nites ceiling up, sha! Thanks to DJ Sose’s boom box skills, guests get to dance and laugh at the same time, and IK’s own comedy adds honey to the milk. This duo’s collaboration stretches further than the Comedy Nites stage thanks to their solid roles on the return season of Nigerian Idol. Judge and host, anyone? Kudos to DJ Sose and IK for serving entertainment galore.

The season comes to an end this week, but fret not, you can still catch up on Comedy Nites sessions on Showmax here: https://bit.ly/3h4Dbsv
