Earlier this year Africa Magic added it’s eighth channel, Africa Magic Igbo, to their proudly African entertainment roster. Jara headed over to the launch and caught up with some of the stars that were rehearsing for the big reveal.
In countdown news we checked out the Top 5 Naija stars that rocked their Igbo attire. The gorgeous Genevieve Nnaji took the top spot, followed by Oge Okoye, Uti Nwachukwu, Oc Ukeje and Kingsley Nwachukwu.
Uti took on the red carpet at the Igbo Channel Launch to chat to some of the celebs at the event and put them in the hot seat for their traditional attire for their night.
After the red carpet action we took our jaralicious people into the event itself where music stars Flavour, Chidinma, Onyeka Owenu and comedian Basketmouth and others entertained everyone in attendance.
Our guest for the show was rising star actor Kingsley Nwachukwu, who plays the role of Maja in the Africa Magic series Hotel Majestic. Nwachukwu also presented the JARA BIG PILLOW to our lucky winner, Onaghise Faith.
