Known for being a presenter on MNet’s Studio 53, Big Brother Africa and Temptation Nigeria, the charming Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa answered his career call at the tender age of fifteen when he would pretend to be a radio show host taking calls from listeners, while his siblings and cousins recorded him. This bright talent then got his official start in the television industry on a show called Campus Circuit Television. IK is a living example of finding your passion at a young age and pursuing it naturally in several lanes, while exploiting all your skills to the fullest.

His effortless hosting approach and billion-dollar smile is not all there is to this legendary media personality. IK is out there carving a niche for himself as one of Nigeria’s most dynamics hosts. Besides hosting the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) and hosting the very first edition of The Voice Nigeria, he also owns a Production and Communications Company called Lite Communications. Not to mention his soothing voice, which many have had the pleasure of experiencing under his brand as an event MC for social and corporate events in several sectors including: Banking & Finance, Telecoms, FCMGs, Manufacturing, Agriculture, etc. It is no surprise that Genevieve Magazine described him saying: “IK is the life of any party. His voice, his humour and charm, are just a few reasons why he is undoubtedly a fan favourite.”

Driven by a dedication to excellence and with a track record of setting and reaching new heights, Ik announced the Commencement of test transmissions for his radio station Lite Radio 95.5fm on November 4th, 2020. This is the latest venture of his media, communication and production company, Lite Communications Ltd.

Whether the event is live or recorded for broadcast, IK’s amazing ability to entertain people and tailor the experience for the target audience, is what makes him a highly sought-after compere. We are left in no doubt then that our IK is going to perform his Nigerian Idol season 6 hosting duties perfectly – and honestly, we can’t wait!
