A little light on our Top 3
Representing South Africa and boasting a colourful repertoire, Afrikariz isn't just about music and stage play, their collective mission is to help shape responsible leaders and cultivate talent. Since rising up the ranks in the competition, they've served us melodies and moves as bright as their uniforms.
Holding and keeping it down for Kenya is the eclectic Wanavokali. Since uniting in 2018, after serving their individual purposes as back up vocalists in concerts across the country, the group has placed beautifully melodic emphasis on the uniqueness of Kenyan sounds and believe that they are the medium through which these rich sounds will travel.
Last but not least are the symphonious lads, Simply Six. Deeply rooted in their distinctive sonorities and a never-seen-before ability to hold their audiences somewhat spellbound, these young men met and grouped up for the sole purpose of becoming Africa's ultimate choral boy band through the Old Mutual Amazing voices platform.
Just like the contending groups, our hopeful hearts have come a long way following their journey, and we're almost at the finish line. The well-polished $100k trophy awaits the winner; the group you've been cheering on and has won your smiles.
