While Big Brother Naija Season 7 can be considered a ship-filled one, the Level Up Housemates have also struck up friendships which have been subjected to various changes over time.
Allysyn's loyalties
All we can say is that woe unto the one found in Allysyn's bad books. From being friends with Adekunle to Nominating him? We have seen the pair in happier times when they would spend a lot of time together, be it in the Kitchen, Lounge, Bedroom, or even sharing the same bed. A while since Adekunle and Allysyn's friendship blossomed, Adekunle started expressing interest in Allysyn beyond friendship.
Adekunle puts the moves and Allysyn
Adekunle's advances caused a rift between him and Allysyn who started getting feelings for Hermes instead. Allysyn and the latter started to explore their feelings for one another which put an end to her friendship with Adekunle and gave rise to a friendship between her and Doyin.

When the House merged, Allysyn who was Daniella's lockdown partner started their friendship right from where they had left off after joining their respective Levels. The pair would often be seen vibing, dancing, and sharing gist with one another.
They became even closer when Doyin was Evicted and sent to Level 3, but when Doyin returned, she and Daniella's friendship started to take the back seat again. This was despite that heated argument that Doyin and Allysyn had on Doyin's arrival back into the House after Eviction. Doyin had confronted Allysyn over her attitude towards her when she arrived back into the House and mentioned that she was told that she wasn't emotional about her Eviction. After a day of giving each other the cold shoulder, the pair talked things over and made up.
The Bella, Chomzy, and Chichi trio
Earlier in the season, Bella, Chomzy, and Chichi struck up a friendship. They would often chat and dance together but it wasn't until the GrooPhy gate scandal where Groovy and Phyna were reported to have been physically intimate in the House that the friendship between the three of them took a knock. The division was caused by the fact that while the rumour was spreading like wildfire in the House, none of the three wanted to own up to who started it.
Chomzy also lessened her interaction with her friends and became close to Eloswag who had been vying for her affection. Bella who had been dating Sheggz even when the trio was going strong focused all her attention on him. Chichi broke away from the trio and gravitated toward Phyna who welcomed her while also striking up a friendship with Rachel, unwittingly forming what social media has dubbed the 'Edo Queens'.
Well, the Edo queens' run may have come to an end today following the blowout between Chichi and Rachel. The bone of contention was about the Showmax movie ticket that saw Chichi gain the movie night privilege over Rachel. The fight also brought about an unresolved issue that occurred after Giddyfia was Evicted where the pair had a squabble over who gets his eggs.

Chichi has also struck up a friendship with Allysyn whom she has often sought out for a heart-to-heart conversation in recent times. This started becoming obvious after Deji's exit from the Game as she would spend most of her time with her.

Sheggz's change in friendships
Sheggz who was paired up with Groovy during lockdown quickly became friends with him during that time. This friendship was made obvious by Sheggz who would often talk about him while Groovy was still in Level 2. Perhaps this is why he also struck up a friendship with former Fake Housemate Deji who told the Housemates that he knew Groovy from outside the House.
The friendship between Sheggz and Groovy seemed to simmer when he was swapped by Biggie and sent to Level 1 from Level 2. While the pair would talk, Sheggz seemed to spend most of his time with Bella. After the merge, the fact that Groovy and Sheggz's friendship had grown lukewarm at best was all the more apparent with Deji coming into the picture. Could it be that Shella was going strong at the time? What we know is that after the argument between Shella and GrooPhy, both Groovy and Sheggz are not that close.

What we do know is that even with Bella in the picture, Sheggz has fostered a closer friendship with Doyin than with Groovy. Even when Shella is in trouble, Sheggz would seek out Doyin for either advice or for her to listen in on his argument with Bella instead of Groovy.
