Firstly it was a brand new Task handed to them by Showmax. Their original Wager is to be as nice to each other as much as possible and their secondary Task is to create a talent show which is to be presented on Thursday and must last longer than 30 minutes.
There was a major shakeup in the House's leadership structure as Trikytee managed to turn his luck around and claim the Head of House. A rule change allowed him to elect Laycon as his Deputy and the eighth week officially had its leadership duo.
On social media, the meme’s for the new Head of House and Deputy came thick and fast.
Some supporters of Laycon used the victory to show their continued support of the Deputy.
Other stans took notice of what a week away from Eviction woes allows them.
Some commentators believe that this newfound power might tempt Trikytee and Laycon to behave improperly.
The consensus was that the pair will offer a fresh take on leadership that fans are looking forward to seeing.
The Housemates also had to make the difficult decision of who they would Vote for during the Nomination Diary Sessions. When the results were tabulated and announced it was Dorathy, Kiddwaya, Ozo, and Prince who would all be hoping they are not going home on Sunday.
