Reggae-dancehall singer Patoranking visited the Housemates today, shared his life journey, danced and took the customary selfies before exiting the House.
What stood out from his visit was the small gesture, in the form of an autographed copy of his album. Of course the Housemates were more than happy, as they stood around him while he singed each album.
He had earlier told the Housemates how he started out as a musician. “I come from the ghetto and I’ve really come a long way in life. I’ve learnt how to relate to people over the years. I’ve realised that fame can be very very deceptive. I’m a very religious person and I thank God that I’m not driven by fame,” he said.
He then shared with the Housemates one of his favourite quotes, “to endure is to achieve” saying it actually changed his life around. He further asked the Housemates to share some of their experiences in the House.
“I have learnt not to put a limit to what I think I can do. Before arriving here, my mind was telling me I’ve done enough but my experience has taught me not to put a limit to what I can do,” Kemen said. In response, Patoranking urged them not to limit themselves. “The only way you can go is forward. There are no limits!” he said.
Meanwhile, Bisola said she learnt how to be diplomatic, TBoss learnt to be more tolerant, Bally learnt how to work with others and Bassey learnt to listen with understanding.
Patoranking joins the list of celebrity visitors, including Mr Nigeria Emmanuel Ikubese, rapper, actor and songwriter Falz “TheBahdGuy” among other guests.
