It’s always an interesting sight watching the Housemates begin their day in a good mood and we have the sound of Music to thank for this. We remember the first morning the Housemates woke up to the sound of an unusual alarm and how grouchy most of them were. Although they had a long night getting to know each other and relieving fond moments from the launch party that ushered them into Big Brother House, the alarm didn’t help the situation. It seemed like the Pepper Dem gang weren’t morning people. Things switched up the next day when music came on instead of the previous alarm. We saw a whole new side to our Housemates and it’s a side we’ve come to know and love.
Waking Up to Music
From the moment the speakers echoed with DJ Tunes’ ‘Get Up’, the Housemates jumped to their feet with the dancing queens leading the pack. Who knew the Housemates found it easy to obey instructions when it comes from music? Biggie would be envious. Maybe it’s time to record the House Rules and put it on a beat. Perhaps then, the Housemates will heed to instructions.
Workout Groove
There is a reason why workout music is as important as the workout. If you watched the Housemates as often as we do, you’d notice the gaiety in their steps as they march out to workout. Diane might not be able to complete a Planking drill, but she can outlast other Housemates in a dance competition. Hardly has there been a work out session that hasn’t been interrupted by a quick dance or ended in a light dance competition.
We are grateful for the music and we look forward to what the Housemates will do for the love of Music at the Saturday Night Party.
