Tutu and Afolabi met in a state different from the one they lived in and thanks to a friend’s intervention, the got to know each other.
Nothing moves a lady like a disconnected but meaningful conversation abi! No, this isn’t 'make belief' because despite the fact that Adetutu wouldn’t have been that interested in car talk, the way Sadiq said “horsepower” fascinated her in the most literal sense of the word.
Sadiq on the other hand absolutely enjoyed their 5-hour-long conversation and though that didn’t ignite any immediate sparks, their preceding conversations assured him that she was indeed the one.
The proposal doesn’t quite depict something ripped out of a fairytale, but it fit the beautiful canvas just right. Sadiq took ill and as a result, had to splurge his funds on hospital bills; but because he was set on putting a ring on it, our groom approached a jeweller and made his intentions known to Tutu.
