If you've ever looked for the perfect example of a ‘ride-or-die’ chick, Tejiri is your girl. Besides being a loyal, loving and supporting wife to Jite, she also takes charge and holds the fort when needed. On some days, you might believe she's the man of the house, and if you ask Jite, he will agree with you without hesitation.

As amazing as she is, she does come with a bit of drama (sometimes, too much drama for Jite to handle) but he will have her no other way, and neither will we.

 Here are a few of our favourite moments that have left us in awe and in stitches.

When she showed Jite who’s the boss

Jite has always had this habit of bragging about being able to put his foot down in his house, and in the process making a mockery of Tejiri’s role in the house. In one instance, Frank was having issues with Mimi, and Jite was there to advise him. He went on and on about how Frank had to lay down the rules while referencing how he did the same at home. Just when he thought he was doing a good job of convincing Frank about how he put his girl in check; guess who showed up to burst his bubble? Tejiri! 😂

When she became the breadwinner

Who can forget this one! After experiencing downtime at work, Jite started spending more time at home and since Tejiri had gotten a job, she couldn’t be there as often, to cater to his needs. To resolve this, Tejiri decided to give her husband a cash allowance to buy his lunch, reminding him that she was just giving him money the same way he did when he left for work. Basically, their roles had switched; she was the captain now. You should have seen the look on Jite’s face. As a matter of fact, watch it here.

When she stood up to Chief Donatus

Being the entrepreneur that she is, Tejiri was only too eager to accept the small chops order Chief Donatus requested. Things went south when she delivered the order and Chief Donatus insisted he wasn’t going to pay the agreed fee. Tejiri immediately stood up to Chief demanding she gets paid for her services. Luckily for Chief, he had his bodyguard there to save him. Poor Jite came in to fight for his lady’s honour, but that ended up quite amusing.

Tejiri might be a tough nut to crack sometimes, but we totally understand that for a woman living in a man’s world, it is important for her to stand her ground and not cower to anyone who intends to boss her around, even her husband.
