Tonight on 53 Extra we set things off by attending Nigeria’s oldest beauty pageant, the 39th Miss Nigerian Pageant. Straight after we profile one of African’s finest DJ who is making waves internationally, the Ghanaian born DJ Abrantee. He dished to us about how he rose to the top by mixing African hits in the UK.
Later we attended the Wajo concert and witness an exciting dance off between two top performing troupes.
Our guests this evening are the duo of Seyi Shay and DJ Nana. Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua professionally known by her stage name Seyi Shay is a Nigerian based English singer-songwriter, recording artist, performer, and record producer. In 2015 Shay released her debut studio album titled Seyi or Shay.
Nanayat Abedoh on the other hand is a Nigerian female DJ. The exceptional DJ Nana broke into limelight when she won the first ever Airtel/Bacardi Cool FM DJ Competition. From there she went on to master the art of spinning the decks under the tutelage of the legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt!
