It was a relatively soft Sunday in the Show Ya Sef house as Kamsy became the only housemate evicted during Live Show 3. From Ebuka putting the housemates on the spot to Sultex claiming the MIPOW crown and Kamsy’s emotional exit, the night had plenty of moments to unpack.
Ebuka opens the show
The Live Show kicked off with Ebuka looking back at the events of Week 3, spotlighting the housemates’ wager preparations, the drama that unfolded along the way and their eventual wager win.
He then crossed over to the house, where HoH Neche found herself put on the spot. Ebuka asked her if she had noticed anyone switching up on her during her reign.
Neche admitted that she had sensed some weird energy from some of the housemates but stopped short of mentioning any names.
Sultex becomes the second MIPOW
Sultex was named the Most Influential Player of the Week, earning immunity and the BetPawa Elite Reward.
Chimsom Chuka, the previous week’s MIPOW, got things started by spinning the wheel and landing on number five. The corresponding envelope contained a laptop, which he won.
Sultex then took his turn and walked away with a tablet.
Ebuka stirs up the nest
As expected, Ebuka wasn't going to let the housemates off without asking a few uncomfortable questions.
Oyin was asked about the nicknames she had given some of her fellow housemates. She explained that it was a group effort but revealed that Kamsy’s nickname was “Bole” because she considered her soft.
Goddessa was next and was asked to describe Neche. She called her a nice young lady, prompting Ebuka to point out that this sounded quite different from what she had previously told Sheba about Neche.
Araga also found himself in the hot seat when Ebuka brought up the bro code and asked whether he trusted the men in the house.
Araga admitted that he had some trust issues with Yusuf. When asked about Barry, however, his response was simple: he doesn't see Barry.
Temi Nkem was then asked why she apologises so much. She explained that saying sorry frequently is part of what she is used to from living in the UK.
Kamsy exits the spotlight
The eviction train stopped at Kamsy’s door tonight, bringing her Big Brother Naija journey to an end.
Kamsy joined Martins and Mercedes as the third housemate to be evicted from the Show Ya Sef house.
On stage with Ebuka, Kamsy addressed her emotional moments following her breakup with Gerard. She clarified that her tears weren't because Gerard had ended things with her. Instead, she said she had been feeling cold, was praying, and the tears simply came.
When asked about Gerard, Kamsy admitted that she was beginning to like him.
As for life after the house, Kamsy said her business comes first and she's ready to go with the flow and see what life brings next.
In his parting words, Ebuka reminded the housemates that they are saying things behind each other’s backs that they may not necessarily have the courage to say face-to-face. He acknowledged the amount of strategising happening in the house but encouraged them to enjoy the experience while it lasts, reminding them that the journey will be over much sooner than they think.
