The final week may be winding down, but the housemates still have plenty to talk about.
Day 66 opened with MIPOW debates, reflections on relationships and life after the show, before Ricky gave Sheba one of the more unexpected proposals of the season: be his girlfriend for one year and see what happens when the “expiry date” arrives.
8:00 am: MIPOW debate returns
The finalists return from their morning workout and get straight into cleaning, with HoH Barry assigning different areas.
Oyin tackles the kitchen but refuses to wash the pile of dirty dishes, insisting those responsible should handle them.
Tram is still discussing his MIPOW win, saying Ricky was unhappy that he won and insisting the issue had nothing to do with Bluethopia. He claims Ricky is rarely happy when he wins anything.
Oyin asks Aikou whether she deserves MIPOW, prompting Tram to tell her to convince Ricky to vote for her instead. As Oyin continues complaining while cleaning, Aikou and Barry encourage her to focus on the job.
Barry asks Tram whether he and Ricky will share the HoH Loft, but Tram says he would rather sleep in the garden.
Later, Aikou sits alone outside, singing before slipping into an impromptu spoken word moment.
9:00 am: Final week reflections
In the kitchen, Tram praises Flora’s determination in arena games, saying she always gives her best even when the results do not go her way. Barry agrees.
Tram again requests a finale outfit and asks Biggie to reopen the BB Marketplace so he can spend his remaining BB Bucks.
Upstairs, Barry and Oyin talk about life outside the house. Barry says he plans to send her a voice note once they leave.
Their conversation moves to exes. Oyin says she and her ex now hate each other, while Barry argues that it should not be that way because they once loved each other.
Oyin tells Aikou she is glad to be spending her final week with him. Aikou admits he once worried that his personality would not take him far in the game, but Oyin reminds him that she predicted early on that he would go far.
In the kitchen, Tram tells Ricky that he needs a new routine after becoming accustomed to life in the house. He also reflects on how much he dislikes being controlled, recalling leaving a work group chat during his time as a social media manager after being pressured over content.
10:00 am: Barry calls Oyin his “wife”
While chatting in the kitchen, Tram asks Barry who Bluethopia is to him. Barry calls her his favourite friend.
When Tram asks about Oyin, Barry replies that Oyin is his “wife.”
Sheba later joins them and mentions a leg injury that is troubling her. Barry tells her he thinks she is very strong.
Aikou and Barry also discuss their school experiences before the conversation becomes more personal. Barry asks Aikou about his girlfriend, and Aikou reveals they met online and have not yet met physically, although they share many interests.
11:00 am: Ricky gives Sheba a one year proposal
Ricky and Sheba spend the morning unpacking old house dynamics and first impressions.
Ricky reveals that he initially tried to connect with Nomy, but she gave him no attention. He also reflects on his closeness with Neche and the disagreement that eventually pulled them apart.
Asked whether he would have become a lover boy with Neche, Ricky says that once he chooses someone, he tends to become obsessed.
He also revisits Sunday’s fake eviction and says he felt Keivo was not happy when he, Tram and Temi Nkem returned to the house.
In the garden, Barry, Aikou and Oyin continue talking about relationships. Oyin opens up about dating her ex from age 17 until their breakup last October, while Barry says his own relationship ended around December or January and admits he still has not healed.
Back inside, Ricky makes Sheba an unusual proposition: he wants her to be his girlfriend for one year, arguing that by the time the year ends, she may no longer want to leave. Sheba is not convinced, telling him that the fact the relationship already has an expiry date is itself a turn off.
Bluethopia later joins Aikou, Barry and Oyin in the garden. After complimenting herself, Barry jokes that dating her would be stressful. Bluethopia replies that they would have to date and lose weight together, while Oyin declares that Bluethopia is even more dramatic than she is.
12:00 pm: Oyin looks back on how far she has come
Oyin kicks off the diary session, but not before Biggie calls her out for arriving late. After apologising, she reflects on her journey, admitting that she never expected to make it onto the show and initially felt she had little chance compared to some of the other housemates. Instead of discouraging her, that feeling pushed her harder.
Oyin tells Biggie she never wanted to become famous and still be broke, saying she did not want to leave the show feeling embarrassed by the opportunity. Biggie then gives her 10 minutes to finish her makeup before continuing the session.
When she returns, Oyin says winning the show would prove to her that God listens because becoming the winner has been one of her prayers. Coming from where she does, simply being in the house once felt like a distant dream, and she sees her journey as proof that something can come from nothing.
She says she would handle the grand prize carefully, with help from her father, and prioritise taking care of her family so they no longer have to worry about money.
For Oyin, reaching this stage is already a personal victory. One thing still on her wish list, however, is winning the Friday Night Games and finally seeing her name on the winners’ board.
Asked what she will miss most, Oyin mentions Biggie’s voice, having food constantly provided, the house itself and, of course, her fellow housemates.
1:00 pm: Sheba wants to leave with nothing left to give
Sheba is next in the diary room and tells Biggie that although she hoped to make it this far, seeing so many strong personalities when she first entered the house made her doubt herself.
Winning, she says, would mean more than the world to her. It would prove that she is capable and completely transform both her career and lifestyle. Still, simply becoming a finalist already feels like a major win.
Before leaving the house, Sheba says her biggest goal is to leave “empty”, knowing she has given everything she possibly could to the experience and has nothing left undone.
She expects plenty of tears when she finally reunites with her loved ones and admits she will miss the carefree life of the house, especially not having to worry about bills.
Sheba also makes one final plea to Biggie: free Flora from the Benchwarmer outfit so she can fully show herself and rock her beautiful outfits before the season ends.
Tram followed next and says winning the season would leave him completely shocked. More than anything, seeing his mother witness that moment would be a blessing.
Reflecting on his fake eviction, Tram says one of the people immediately on his mind was Olivia, his girl outside the house. He adds that he did not pay much attention to the other housemates’ reactions and no longer takes things personally because he understands that everyone is playing a game.
Tram says the house has taught him a lot about tolerance, especially because he is naturally used to being alone. He is also proud of his performance across the season and the number of games he has won.
One thing he still hopes to achieve is a BetPawa Friday Night Games victory.
As the end approaches, Tram admits he will miss the luxury of having almost everything provided for him.
He then gets personal, telling Biggie how much he loves Olivia and revealing that she made him believe in love and marriage. Tram even extends an invitation to Biggie, saying he would love to have him as a guest at their wedding.
2:00 pm: Flora celebrates making it to the finale
Flora tells Biggie it has been a tough week in the house, but today feels much better. One small thing that lifted her mood was Biggie providing palm nuts for her soup.
She admits she is still surprised by how far she has come. From starting out as a Gambit to being reinstated as a housemate and now making it to finale week, Flora says the journey has exceeded her expectations. She is especially grateful to be a finalist because it is something she has always wanted.
Winning would mean everything to her, although she already sees herself as a winner simply for making it this far.
Looking back at the fake eviction, Flora says Tram’s exit was difficult for her because she considers him part of her family. She was also happy when Barry’s decision ultimately kept everyone in the game, saying the house feels more alive with everyone still around. She describes Barry as kind for making that choice and adds that Ricky cares more than he sometimes lets on.
For Flora, reaching the finale is already a personal victory. She says the experience has made her more confident because staying this long reassures her that people out there love and support her.
She still hopes to win more tasks before the season ends, although she admits she has also been enjoying the chance to rest and have fun in the house.
Seeing her loved ones again would mean everything to her because they are her biggest supporters.
Asked what she will miss, Flora becomes emotional talking about Biggie’s voice, his words of encouragement and the way he speaks to the housemates. She says those moments have touched her deeply.
She will also miss the Arena Games and the parties, but Sunday evictions are one thing she definitely will not miss. Flora ends the session by thanking Biggie and expressing how grateful she is to have been part of the season.
3:00 pm: Barry counts down to the finale
HoH Barry is the final housemate to have his diary session, and he admits he has mixed feelings following Keivo’s disqualification. He says he is taking things one day at a time as the countdown to the finale continues. Barry says he genuinely believed everyone would make it to Sunday, which made Keivo’s exit especially difficult.
Looking back on his own journey, Barry admits he never expected to get this far. With housemates who could dance, sing and command attention with big personalities, he initially thought his journey might end around Week 5 or 6. He names Goddessa and Cassi’s evictions as two of the exits that shocked him most.
Winning the season, Barry says, would mean a lot not only to him but also to his family and business. It would also give him the opportunity to pursue his Master’s degree.
On Sunday’s fake evictions, Barry says he expected Biggie to have something dramatic planned, but Tram’s fake exit still caught him off guard. When Temi Nkem was also called out, he began to believe the eviction was real because Biggie could change the game at any moment. In the end, he describes the entire twist as a very good “bag of tricks.”
Before leaving the house, Barry still hopes to win MIPOW, pick up victories in the remaining tasks and, ultimately, walk away with the grand prize.
He says he thinks about seeing his loved ones every Sunday and already imagines calling and texting everyone once the show ends, including his girl. The family video, especially hearing his mother say how proud they were of him, meant a lot.
Asked what he will miss most, Barry mentions imitating Biggie’s voice, the arena, wager presentations and the friendships he has built.
Before leaving the diary room, Barry joins Sheba in asking whether Flora can be relieved of the Benchwarmer outfit for the remaining days. Biggie says he will consider the request.
Barry later rejoins Temi Nkem, Sheba and Bluethopia at the dining table, where they ask about his session. Sheba then admits she cannot wait to see Goddessa on Sunday.
