It is the housemates’ final Saturday in the Show Ya Sef house, and the countdown to tomorrow’s finale is officially on.
While some finalists are taking things slowly and soaking in their final moments, others are packing, cleaning and already thinking about what life outside the house will look like. But one conversation refuses to go away: Aikou and Flora’s Gambit reveal, which still has Sheba and Temi Nkem trying to make sense of Biggie’s twist.
8:00 am: Final Saturday starts with packing and cleaning
Music fills the house as the finalists ease into their last Saturday morning.
Ricky irons his clothes while Sheba packs her belongings into her luggage. With some of the housemates still asleep, Sheba finishes packing and heads to the kitchen, where she tidies up, arranges the pots and pans and dances while getting the work done.
9:00 am: Sheba keeps the house in order
The morning remains quiet, with several finalists still in bed.
Sheba, however, is already fully active and continues cleaning around the house.
10:00 am: Finalists take the morning slowly
It is still a calm morning in the house as Sheba continues cleaning and Barry gets ready for the day.
After freshening up, Barry heads to the garden to pick up litter.
Upstairs, Aikou gets in some exercise while Tram sits quietly in the garden with his hand on his jaw, taking in the moment.
11:00 am: Temi Nkem says she feels deceived by the Gambit twist
Barry eats breakfast alone while Ricky gets dressed upstairs.
Tram heads to the Loft to wake his “nuclear family”, Flora and Oyin, but both are too sleepy and quickly drift back to sleep, so he lets them be.
Later, Tram tells Barry he had gone outside to clear his head, spend some time alone and soak everything in as the season comes to an end.
The Gambit reveal soon becomes the topic of conversation between Temi Nkem and Tram.
Temi Nkem admits she feels deceived because she never suspected Aikou was one of the Gambit. She also wonders what viewers outside the house think of her.
Tram says he is equally curious about how he is perceived, adding that this is the longest he has gone without his phone.
They also talk about tomorrow’s finale and how busy the day is likely to be. Tram admits he is still unsure about what he will wear and reminds Biggie that he is still waiting on a finale outfit.
12:00 pm: Sheba and Temi Nkem are still shocked by Aikou’s Gambit reveal
The Gambit conversation continues downstairs as Sheba and Temi Nkem revisit what they learned at the finalists’ dinner.
Aikou tells them he was a Gambit for three weeks. Sheba jokes that his peace disappeared the moment he found out about the assignment.
Temi Nkem asks how he felt when Biggie revealed his role, and Aikou says he expected something like it.
Sheba says she might have been fine remaining a Gambit until around Week 8, but by then she would probably have started thinking she could have survived the game on her own.
Temi Nkem admits the reveal hit differently because she wants to win the grand prize and had previously seen a Gambit as one less person to worry about. Now that Aikou became a full housemate, that calculation changed.
Sheba says she was genuinely shocked when she watched the clip of Aikou being told he was a Gambit. Temi Nkem jokes that Biggie deceived her and tells Sheba they need to go and “fight” him, while Sheba plays along and says they have to show Biggie who is boss.
Sheba also admits she expected the Gambit reveal to happen on stage rather than before the finale.
In the garden, Aikou tells Tram that he is not exactly returning to nothing after the show. He says he has not collected profit from his business in three months, meaning some money is waiting for him. He talks about spending it on perfumes, massages and spoiling himself.
Back inside, Sheba and Temi Nkem talk about their remaining BB Bucks and whether they will get a chance to spend them.
The conversation later shifts to Ebuka. Temi Nkem says he asked her about Barry and whether anything was happening between them. She insists she respects Barry but says there is nothing romantic going on, although they did try talking during the first week.
As they discuss tomorrow’s finale, Temi Nkem jokes that if life ever goes badly, she will simply marry a billionaire.
1:00 pm: Life after Biggie’s house takes over the conversation
Some of the finalists gather in the garden as conversations turn towards life after the show.
Temi Nkem talks investments with Bluethopia and Sheba, while Tram continues discussing competition with Aikou and what it means to stand out among his peers.
Temi Nkem says she wants to travel and build herself as a content creator.
Bluethopia also talks about travel, food, fashion and some of the influencers she follows.
The conversation ends on a playful note as Bluethopia and Temi Nkem make one more request to Biggie: Asake concert tickets.
2:00 pm: The Overreaction Olympics begin
The house receives a new brief and, while waiting for everyone to gather in the lounge, Aikou and Oyin share some side gist.
Aikou asks Oyin about Barry, and she says she wants someone whose heart is not divided. Their conversation shifts to the Gambit twist, with Oyin saying she felt it would have been unfair for the Gambits to spend 10 weeks in the house without becoming full housemates, so she is glad Biggie eventually reinstated them as housemates.
Oyin also says she believed Flora when the house suspected she was a Gambit. Aikou, however, says he became suspicious when Flora suddenly started acting romantic towards him.
Once everyone is settled, Barry reads the brief for a new ad hoc task: the Overreaction Olympics.
The finalists are given different scenarios and must respond as dramatically, outrageously and hilariously as possible. From suddenly winning ₦1 billion to an outfit disaster, a cancelled party and finding out a partner is getting married, the housemates fully lean into the chaos.
3:00 pm: The drama continues
The Overreaction Olympics is still in full swing, with the finalists throwing themselves into each scenario and clearly enjoying the chance to be as dramatic as possible.
4:00 pm – Ricky and Sheba start flirting
The ad-hoc task continued for another 30 minutes. When it finished, Barry, Bluethopia and Temi went to bed in the HoH Loft. Barry is sleeping in the middle. Barry said he'll miss the two women. Bluethopia said he shouldn't worry, they'll meet up on the outside. He's happy he'll get access to his phone. He also looks forward to seeing his family.
Upstairs in the Closet, Sheba and Ricky are together, talking. He told her that this is technically the last night in the House, he doesn't want to sleep. Sheba said she's sure a lot of people will be up and he said he doesn't care about anyone else. He's flirting and she's playing along and laughing.
He asked if Sheba is down for bedroom games? Sheba responded by asking if she should wear her shoes and Ricky said all she needs to do is just sharpen her birthday suit. Sheba laughed. He asked how she's feeling, and she said she can't wait for something exciting to happen in the House, she's bored.
5:00 pm – Oyin and Tram talk about everything
Tram is on the Garden bed with Oyin. She said Barry was trying to make her interested in him, but she said no. Tram said he feels like maybe outside the House, they can be more open. Oyin doesn’t agree on this.
Tram told her that he can't wait to see his manager. He said she's always busy though. He then said aside from Chimsom Chuka's immunity, he's literally at the same level (of wins) with Chimsom Chuka. He then counted his wins against Chimsom Chuka's wins. He notes that Chimsom has never slept in the Loft.
According to Tram, he has more wins than anyone else in the House. He counts Barry's wins and says he has more wins than Barry.
He then talked about this last week in Biggie’s House, he felt like a celebrity and Biggie made them feel special. He then talks about Temi Nkem, saying she's a mad person but cute.
Tram then talked about his girl. Oyin looked like she is dozing off in between the chat. He said if he comes out tomorrow and his girl doesn't want him; he'll be a bad boy. Oyin told him that he's already a bad boy. He justified the things he has done in the House, like dancing and touching people's booty at the parties and kissing Temi Nkem (he said they were just acting).
He asked if Oyin is modelling because it pays well or she loves doing it? Oyin said she loves the job. He asked if she wins the grand prize, would she still want to be a model? Oyin said she'd still want to do it. They talk about going to the gym after they leave.
6:00 pm – Talks about marriage
Ricky told Sheba about that time Abi was asking him if he's really married. He said she even went to ask Bells. He added that he then fed her lies at the swing.
Sheba asked if Ricky thinks Abi would still like him if she finds out that he was feeding her lies. Ricky said she'd like him more and Sheba disagreed.
She said Ricky played her and he disagreed, saying Abi played herself. He said he had to lie because he was running out of time; he had told himself that he'd get close to her in a week. He added Abi wished that people knew that he was also married so people would stop judging her.
Aikou, Barry, Oyin, Tram, Flora are together. Aikou, Barry, Oyin, Tram and Flora talked about Barry and Oyin's "marriage." Barry said the people he's close to, Oyin has snatched them (Aikou) from him. Aikou asked if Oyin is willing to "marry" Barry? Flora said Barry is a good suitor for her so why is she (Oyin) looking at Aikou?
Oyin said she doesn't want a man whose heart is busy. Barry told them Oyin was busy all day and when he tried to spend time with her, she was busy. Oyin smiled at Aikou and Flora said how can Oyin smile at her "brother in-law" (Aikou) like that? They all laugh.
Biggie announced the Salon is now open. Biggie started playing music.
7:00 pm – Flora and Sheba gist
Sheba and Flora noted how they never got a chance to get to know each other. This is while Flora is helping Sheba with her hair in preparation for the party. Flora also spoke about how this week was a good week, they saw Ebuka twice.
HoH Barry called the housemates to the Main Lounge and read the Saturday Night Link-Up brief for them. The housemates get outfits and treats.
Flora and Sheba are still chatting in the Salon. Flora mentioned quarrels that she's been in and says there are some quarrels that you leave. She said this is why she was angry at Keivo when he had that fight with Tram.
Oyin and Bluethopia are getting their makeup done at the dining area. Temi Nkem is also there with them. Sheba joined the ladies and they're now all getting their makeup done.
8:00 pm – Pre-party vibes
The women are still busy with their makeup. Sheba wondered out loud if they see ex-housemates. Bluethopia said that would be nice.
8:00 pm – The women gist while getting ready
Sheba told Temi Nkem she’s never seen anybody excited to be evicted like Bells was. Temi Nkem laughed in agreement and said she didn't even say bye to a few people. Bluethopia noted how Bells liked Yusuf, Temi Nkem agreed. Sheba asked how do you know though that the person will still like you with all those options outside.
9:00 pm – The party started
The Saturday Night Link-Up has started. Ricky is the first to enter the party. He sees the former housemates already there, shielded by the glass. Aikou arrived and saw the ex-housemates, he waved and smiled.
Oyin arrived and saw the former housemates and screamed. She's not fully ready yet. Barry helped her with her dress.
Bluethopia and Sheba arrived and they see Neche, Kamsy and Chimsom Chuka. They scream in excitement.
Barry spotted Cassi and they greet, send each other virtual hugs.
Temi Nkem and Flora arrived. They see the former housemates and Temi Nkem screamed in excitement.
Goddessa finally showed up, and Sheba and Temi Nkem jump up and down in excitement. Goddessa hugged Martins and Chimsom.
10:00 pm – The party continues
Barry and Aikou have been sitting by the bar for most of the night. Barry occasionally went to the dance floor. The DJs play the “Mr Barry” song and Barry is now on the dance floor with the ladies, dancing.
11:00 pm – Bad vibes?
Big Brother announced that the Saturday Night Link-Up is over. The housemates return to the House. They talk about the signals they think the former housemates have given them. Sheba thinks she got a tense vibe from some of the former housemates. Tram said the people who were cool with him, greeted him and he focused on them.
