While the house was still asleep, Faith shared with Kaybobo that he finds himself circling around Imisi, someone he admits he still can’t quite figure out. But instead of giving up, Faith decided to analyze her energy, her past, her unpredictability, and why she might be more layered than she lets on. From round cheeks to comic relief, Faith’s words revealed admiration, confusion, and curiosity all in one.
“Maybe she started acting when she was like 20,” Faith began, his tone somewhere between curious and reflective. “She say she dey do Yoruba movies… maybe now it’s paying her, she dey collect salary now.” His assumptions weren’t just about career moves though, Faith leaned into the subtle physical signs that life has gotten a little better for Imisi. “She can afford food, an apartment. She looks healthy. She dey chop well, round cheeks and all,” he said, almost affectionately. “That’s not a poor man thing.”
But it wasn’t all about the glow-up. Faith suggested that even though Imisi seems comfortable now, she probably “made it” recently and still draws from that place of past struggle. “Maybe that’s just the way she is,” Faith mused. He added that some people, like Mensan, are easy to figure out, but Imisi wasn’t as she is layered.
He sounded intrigued by Imisi and he rounded up the chat with a mix of empathy and encouragement. “She just needs to figure herself out. Calm down, process things. But honestly? I think she’s cool.”
It was a revealing moment, showing Faith not just as an observer, but as someone who’s learning, processing, and trying to understand the different personalities he’s living with.
