The morning kicked off with more than just breakfast, it came with a heavy serving of drama.

Joanna led the way, saying Isabella often assumes housemates’ comments are aimed at her. She stressed that no one is constantly talking about Isabella, but she always seems to interpret things that way.

Kola backed her up, recalling how the group once sang a song about jealousy and, judging from Isabella’s body language, she instantly took offence. Bright Morgan, Mide, and Thelma Lawson were also in the room, agreeing with what was being said.

As the discussion deepened, Thelma Lawson told Mide that Isabella tries too hard to grab her attention, almost forcing interactions where there’s no need. According to Thelma Lawson, the behaviour feels intentional and unnecessary. The group then shifted focus to Kuture, with Thelma, Joanna, Kola, Bright, and Mide all agreeing that he has become the house’s number one gossip, always stirring the pot when it suits him.

Meanwhile in the house, Zita was stirring her own tea in a chat with Kola. She cast doubt on Thelma Lawson’s friendship with Mensan, suggesting it isn’t genuine at all. In her words, Thelma Lawson gravitates towards Mensan only because of the things he does for her, like assisting her cook and carry heavy stuff and not because of true connection. By contrast, Zita praised Kola’s friendship with Imisi, calling it more authentic and heartfelt than anything she sees between Thelma Lawson and Mensan.

The timing of Zita’s comments was no coincidence. This came right after Kola gisted Zita, right after he went on to chat with Thelma Lawson and Mide about Isabella’s constant belief that she’s at the centre of every conversation.

For some housemates, they believe Isabella struggles with insecurity; for others, it’s simply a tactic to pull attention her way.
