Week Nine had the housemates reflect on their journeys in the Show Ya Sef House. The theme of the week is Legacy and each housemate had to perform original monologue titled “This is my legacy.”
Throughout the week, Big Brother had asked the housemates to think back on how far they came – dating from the day their journey started in the House. During a diary session about they have shared proudest moments in the House. Another time in the House, Big Brother had the housemates participate in a question-and-answer game and they recalled the shocking and interesting events in the House.
Eviction
On Sunday, there was a triple eviction during the Live Show. Bells, Chimsom Chuka and Yusuf left the House. After the eviction, the housemates shared that they were shocked that Chimsom Chuka was evicted, because he was a strong player.
The Head of House (HoH) winner
Keivo finally claimed the HoH crown in the House. His title came with immunity, but he had no say in who would be saved for the week. He chose Aikou as his Loft mate. Meanwhile, Oyin became the week’s Benchwarmer.
Barry’s saves everyone in the House
Barry got a surprise as the Ultimate Veto Power Holder. During the nomination process, he was called into the Diary Room to exercise his Ultimate Veto Power. He got an envelope which gave him two choices: Immunity For All or Immunity For None.
The second option would have stripped every housemate, including the HoH, of immunity.
Barry made a choice to give Immunity For All and he confirmed his decision.
Biggie told him to keep the choice completely secret. Throughout the week, the housemates were speculating about what went down in the Diary Room during the nomination process. Barry just kept quiet.
The Wager
The housemates did their Wager in a sermon style type of event. Each of them contributed. Aikou had said in his diary session that the Wager was the highlight of his week, because people depended on him so much. It had given him meaning to assist with the closing speech and the fact that everyone’s hope was on him.
The housemates won the Wager.
MIPOW campaigning
Temi Nkem and Tram started campaigning early this week for the Most Influential Person of the Week (MIPOW) title. Bluethopia had suggested weeks ago that if she would spend her birthday in the Big Brother House, she would like the title. Some of the housemates openly discussed voting for Bluethopia. Tram and Temi Nkem hustled and tried to convince the housemates otherwise.
Tram even got upset with his friend Ricky, because Ricky had mentioned he would vote for Bluethopia. There was also a moment where Tram negotiated with Temi Nkem to vote for him – he said he would pay her 2,5K BB Bucks if she would vote for him.
Arena Games
Barry is the Arena Games winner for this week.
BB Bucks heist
Temi Nkem continued her search this week for BB Bucks. There was a moment where she was almost caught by Ricky, but she quickly made an escape. Ricky’s money also disappeared. Tram suspected Temi Nkem and he asked her about it, but she avoided the question.
Sheba had also told Temi Nkem that the housemates are looking for the BB Bucks thief, and they might set a trap for her.
Gbas gbos
In the beginning of the week, Tram admitted to Sheba that he is ignoring Bluethopia. Tram later had a back-and-forth her Bluethopia. However, on Bluethopia’s birthday he had asked Biggie if he could do something special for Bluethopia.
Keivo and Oyin had a fight, but they both had regretted what they have said to each other. Keivo apologised for his actions in front of everyone.
Keivo also had a back-and-forth with Flora and Oyin, while he and Barry disagreed with the women about who deserves a MIPOW win.
During the Hot Seat event, some of the housemates also shared their thoughts on how they feel some people reacted in certain instances.
Lastly, there is tension between Ricky and Tram after the MIPOW campaigning.

Following the decision of Ultimate Veto Power Holder Barry, all Housemates have immunity, meaning there will be no public vote this week.
