The Head of House (HoH) Challenge had a twist this week: the Challenger was introduced at the end of the four games played by the housemates. Chimsom Chuka, the last man standing in the HoH Challenge, was told to compete with four housemates and then Tram won the Challenger. He is the HoH for week seven.
Meanwhile, Nomy was put in the hot seat during the Live Nominations and Biggie reminded her that participation is a privilege.
The HoH Challenge
Before the games started, each housemate got a letter. The letters spelled the word “TRICK”. Abi, who was last week’s HoH, could also take part in this week’s HoH Challenge. However, Abi was buzzed out during the first game.
There were four games. At each round, only a certain amount of people would go to the next round. At the fourth game, Sheba, Keivo and Chimsom Chuka were competing. Chimsom Chuka won because he finished the game in the fastest time.
Biggie had a twist for the housemates: everyone who had the letter “C” in the beginning of the HoH Challenge, could now compete with Chimsom Chuka in the next game. Abi, Bells, Temi Nkem and Tram are competing with Chimsom Chuka for the HoH reign.
The five housemates (which included Chimsom Chuka) participated in an endurance game. Abi and Tram are the last housemates in the challenge. Tram won the HoH Challenge.
He said that Flora can join him in the HoH Loft.
Nomy becomes Benchwarmer again
Ricky and Nomy had to play a game to see who the benchwarmer of the week will be. Nomy is the benchwarmer for the week.
When the housemates returned to the house, Nomy left the benchwarmer bib and bench behind.
Live Nominations: The search is on
In accordance with the the theme, this week's Live Nominations had a twist: no Conspiracy Hour. Big Brother let the housemates know hat this Live Nomination is something they are not familiar with.
He then told the housemates that there are red envelopes hidden all over the house for each one of them. They must look for one envelope and can then sit down. They must do this search within ten minutes. They were not allowed to open the envelopes until Biggie gives them permission to. Only HoH Tram and Nomy will sit the search out.
During the search, it looked like Ricky had almost opened his envelope when he found it. The people who found the envelopes were Oyin, Flora, Keivo, Araga, Abi, Bluethopia, Temi Nkem, Bells and Ricky.
The people who had not found the envelopes were Aikou, Barry, Chimsom Chuka, Sheba and Yusuf. Ricky had to join the last squad, because it seems like he had opened his envelope.
The people who had envelopes had to say what does the paper in their envelopes say. Everyone, except Keivo had a paper that said “Gotcha”. Keivo’s paper had said, “Safe or not”. Biggie congratulated Keivo for finding the magic card.
Tram was asked to exercise his Veto power. He was asked whether Keivo is safe or not. Tram said Keivo is safe.
Biggie told the house that everyone is up for possible evictions except for Keivo and Tram.
Nomy gets disqualified
Big Brother addressed Nomy over her repeated defiance of his instructions, pointing specifically to her conduct while serving as the bench warmer this week. He asked Nomy what was her intention with regards to her benchwarmer bib and her bench? She gave a long pause, and Biggie asked her again to respond.
Last week, Nomy became the first Housemate of the Show Ya Sef season to receive a strike after Big Brother found her guilty of repeatedly defying his instructions. At the time, Big Brother described the strike as her “last and final warning.” Biggie revoked Nomy’s privilege to be in the Big Brother Naija house. She was given 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the Big Brother Naija house.
It is the first day of the week and the week's theme is Bag of Tricks. Ony time will tell tricks (or treats) the house will need to navigate during Tram's HoH reign.
