A brand-new telenovela!
DiepCity S1
This brand new telenovela comes from the production team behind Lockdown, eHostela S2 and Vula Vala, and centres on four young women who were forced into crime while still in high school, just to make ends meet, and are now trying to make their way in the world. The first of the four we meet is small-time housebreaker Nox (Nozuko Ncayiyane) who was arrested after her brilliant little brother was shot dead during a robbery. Now she’s back home with her alcoholic dad and angry mom, Thandiwe (Dawn Thandeka King), who blames her for her brother’s death.

This isn’t just about the love or chemistry between a man and a woman, it’s about seeing eye-to-eye on the greater moral and theological issues.

We’ll also see them take the huge step of sitting down with their families to tell them their truth, and about their intention to fit into a truer identity.

The true-crime series investigates family secrets that people have been desperate to keep at all costs, including murder. Find out what Earnest Lee Hargon did to his cousin, cousin’s wife and their child over a family will, and who stabbed Cathy Torrez 74 times before dumping her body in the boot of her car. And learn why Nathan Bradley Maddox and his wife, Krystal, were gunned down outside a church. In all these cases, the person (or people) who wanted the victim dead was someone they knew well.

Manhunt: Deadly Games S2
In the explosive anthology series Manhunt: Deadly Games, the real-life terror attack taking the spotlight in S2 is the bombing at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, which left 111 injured. Rather than focus on the victims of this attack, Manhunt takes us inside the police investigation and hunt for the attacker. Centennial Olympic Park security guard Richard Jewell (Cameron Britton) spotted the bomb and quickly moved people to safety, but because of media speculation and conspiracy stories he became the prime suspect.
