You can help provide a community with a sustainable food source while enjoying a weekend in Cape Town.

Fifteen lucky subscribers and their partners can join the DStv team as they give back so much more. DStv, in partnership with Love to Africa (an initiative run by the non-profit organisation, heart), Legacy Hotels, Top Places and Interlink Airlines, is building a FoodTent for a worthy beneficiary in Cape Town.

Love to Africa develops volunteer tours for local and international tourists and corporate team builds. The participants are provided with opportunities to get actively involved in community upliftment projects whilst on holiday. One of these volunteer activities is building FoodTents (another heart initiative). These offer a low-maintenance, sustainable, cost-effective solution to provide those in need with fresh vegetables on an ongoing basis.

Join DStv and Love to Africa in building a FoodTent that will supply fresh vegetables to a community or school, and experience a magical weekend in Cape Town. After your days’ work, you will be hosted in style by Legacy Hotels’ Commodore Hotel for two nights, which is on the doorstep of Cape Town’s vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Interlink Airlines will whisk you there and back in comfort on its service from Tshwane/Pretoria Wonderboom Airport.

Terms and conditions:
Winners must be available for travel on March 19, 2010. The prize includes return flights from Tshwane/Pretoria (Wonderboom Airport) to Cape Town, return transfers from the airport to the hotel, two nights’ luxury accommodation for two people at the Commodore Hotel, breakfast and dinner daily, the experience of helping build a FoodTent, and refreshments and lunch. All other items not mentioned are for the winners’ own accounts.

1. This competition is conducted in accordance with the provisions of section 54 of the Lotteries Act, 1997, as amended!
2. By entering into this competition, entrants agree to the rules set out below.
3. The competition is not open to the following people:
3.1. Directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of MultiChoice, Oracle Air-time sales.
3.2. The spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 3.1 above; and
4. There is no limit on the number of times you may enter the competition.
5. Telephone calls and/or text messages to the competition lines will be charged at prevailing cell phone rates, which may vary from time to time. Free minutes under a cell-phone contract do not apply. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain permission from their parents or guardians before entering.

11. Entrants enter into the competition, and use prizes won, at their own risk. MultiChoice SMS cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, harm or loss as a result of entry into the competition or use of a prize.
12. MultiChoice SMS reserve the right to cancel the competition without notice at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of their control.
