From Dusk Till Dawn
Movie review: The Twilight Saga - Breaking...
Twilight vs From Dusk Till Dawn

There’s no two ways about it: November is a good month for Twi-hards. In addition to the world premiere of
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2
, M-Net Movies is bringing you a feast of
Twilight
movies, beginning with
Twilight
on Friday 16 November at 19:15 on M-Net Movies Showcase and ending with
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1
on Sunday 18 November at 20:30 on M-Net Movies Premiere.
However those who like their vamps with a bit more bite shouldn’t feel neglected; we’ve got something nice and nasty lined up for you as well. On Saturday 17 November, M-Net Movies Showcase presents Robert Rodriguez’s grimy vampire thriller
From Dusk Till Dawn
, which takes place almost entirely in a biker bar populated by vampires without a moody pine tree or emotive lunar event in sight.
But just how does
From Dusk Till Dawn
stack up against
Twilight
? Here are a few comparisons:
Eye-candy
Let’s just say that the eye-candy in
From Dusk Till Dawn
has a bit more of an edge (and often a lot less clothes).
VS
Sensitivity
The only thing the vamps in
From Dusk Till Dawn
are particularly sensitive too is the smell of blood. And once they get that scent, it’s safe to say that discussing their feelings is pretty low on their agenda.
VS
Bad-ass leading men
Neck tats and revolvers vs lovingly tousled hair and whatever was going on with Jacob in the first movie. No contest really.
VS
Bad-ass leading ladies
In
Twilight
, Bella is armed with a pout. In
From Dusk Till Dawn
, Kate Fuller is armed with a crossbow.
VS
Bad-ass vampires
Let’s just say that the vampires in
From Dusk Till Dawn
don’t sparkle.
VS
Catch
Twilight
, Fri 16 Nov at 19:15 on M-Net Movies Showcase
and
From
Dusk Till Dawn
, Sat 17 Nov at 23:15 on M-Net Movies Showcase
.
