Adults are more than welcome to watch with the kids but these movies will sure keep you entertained. Meet the first Avenger, Captain America as he fights evil forces as a patriotic superhero with integrity. The story of the warrior god of thunder, Thor is based on Norse mythology. Marvel Studios released Thor in 2011 with Chris Hemsworth as the warrior god, Prince of Asgard. Watch the burly god, Thor on Friday, 24 August at 15:00 on M-Net Movies 1 and M-Net Movies 1 HD.




Almighty Thor is a different take on the warrior god. A low budget American studio, The Asylum released Almighty Thor at the same time as Marvel Studio’s Thor. The effects are far from being as cool as Marvel’s. But the choice of who best plays Thor is up to you. Catch the Almighty Thor on Friday, 24 August at 14:40 on Universal Channel.



A group of people called the Guardians of the Universe created the Green Lantern Corps to protect sectors of the universe. These Green Lanterns protect different sectors with the help of a powerful ring. On earth, a ring is left to find a new suitor. The ring chooses Hal Jordan played by Ryan Reynolds as the new Green Lantern. Don’t miss this superhero blockbuster, The Green Lantern on Sunday, 26 August at 20:05 on M-Net and M-Net HD.



Fans of the X-Men franchise, can watch the mutant superheroes in X2. These mutants try their best to do good but not all mutants have the same agenda for their powers. Meanwhile, the US military attacks the mutant academy in a quest to destroy all mutants across the globe. Watch X2 on Friday, 24 August at 8:55 and on Monday, 27 August at 17:45 on M-Net Movies 2.
