Kenyan pretty boy Malonza Chege is trying his hand at acting, just weeks since his exit from the Big Brother Africa house.

In an attempt to model a career path for himself as an entertainer, Malonza is going to be a guest host on the fifth show of the increasingly popular Comedy Club.

"The show I'm hosting will be broadcast in two weeks' time and apart from introducing the comedy acts I will be doing a few sketches too," he said on telephone.

The 23-year-old has also dabbled in modelling and was this week featured on the fashion page on the Standard newspaper.

"Coming back from the Big Brother house, the experience has been mind boggling. Even though I didn't win, I feel pressure to do something great with this opportunity."

He confessed that he is teaming up with his brother, Alex, to conceptualise a TV show that he hopes will be accepted by local stations.

"I act in my day-to-day life – I might as well get paid for it," he laughed.
