In a recent interview with MTV, zef punks Die Antwoord revealed that Lady Gaga recently asked them to open for her on her Born This Way tour.

The South African act claim that they flatly denied her offer, sparking social media speculation.

Die Antwoord have been creating major stateside buzz, appearing on Letterman last month.

Said rapper Ninja, "Lady Gaga asked us to tour with her and we were like, no, no, don't worry about it..." to which Yo-landi Vi$$er giggled.

They went on to explain that they "just operate on another dimension to everything".



Their Gaga refusal has sparked a Twitter war among fans of both Gaga and Die Antwoord, each hating on the opposite side.

Lady Gaga has recently made history by being the first individual Twitter user to reach 20 million followers. She has yet to comment on Die Antwoord's claims.
