Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are “consummate professionals".

The pair are apparently more concerned with keeping their The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 fans happy than reacting to speculation that they have rekindled their romance.

"Both Rob and Kristen are consummate professionals when it comes to their careers and are very aware that the Twilight movies and fans put them on the map," a source told Radar Online

The co-stars, who reportedly "can't live without each other", are determined to put their fans before their personal issues and make sure that the promotional tour for the final Twilight movie goes smoothly.
 
"They have no intention of letting them down by not doing any press interviews for the new film,” says the source.

Joint public appearances shouldn't be too hard for the duo if there is any truth to the rumours that they have kissed and made up after Kristen's affair with married filmmaker Rupert Sanders.

However, sources say Robert is more comfortable having his co-star as a friend even though his friends reportedly expect the stars to rekindle their romance.

“(Kristen’s in the) friend zone,” a source told Radar Online.

“Robert is still unsure about Kristen; he feels more comfortable having her as a friend for the foreseeable future,” the source revealed. "Only time will tell if he takes her back further down the road.”
