North America is the favoured pre-season destination this year as a host of European football giants cross the Atlantic to prepare for the upcoming season on American soil.

Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG, AC Milan and Liverpool will all set up camp in North America as they try to shake off the off-season rustiness in a host of friendly matches to be broadcast live on SuperSport.

Manchester rivals City and United give America a miss this year, having toured there last season. Instead, United embark on a round the world trip with stops in Africa, Asia and Scandinavia while City remain in Europe, setting up camp in Austria.

SuperSport will broadcast United’s matches in Scandinavia and Asia, where a meeting with former nemesis, Didier Drogba, looms large with United to play Shanghai Shenhua, Drogba’s new club.
