Million Rand Money Drop hits Cape Town
By

Auditions for M-Net's Million Rand Money Drop continue in Cape Town on Friday, in a second day of excitement, general knowledge and wit.
Capetonians came out in force on the first day of auditions on Thursday, and they came prepared! Armed with crosswords and sudoku to keep them busy, sisters Jasmine and Nadia Arnold from Salt River waited patiently in the queue.
The two believe they have the general knowledge expertise to make it all the way and win R1-million in cash on the nail-biting game show, which will air on the channel next year.
If you’re keen to join in the fun and are wondering how the show works, here’s the lowdown:
In each episode a pair of contestants starts off with R1-million in hard cash. Just eight simple multiple choice questions stand between them and their money. Sounds simple, right? Think again! One wrong move, and they could see all their cash disappear through a trapdoor. So the question is… Can you beat the drop?
Auditions for the series continue in Cape Town on Friday 9 November and in Port Elizabeth on Friday, 16 November and Saturday, 17 November.
If you and your chosen partner think you have the drive, personality and knowledge to enter the show, make sure to
print out the entry form
, complete it and bring it along to your audition!
For those entrants who are unable to do this, forms will also be available at audition venues.
