Listen up "Little Monsters", Lady Gaga will be heading to South Africa!
The multiple Grammy winning star will be bringing her
Born This Way Ball
tour to the country at the end of the year.
Gaga, who is never shy of controversy or of making a statement, will perform two gigs, one in Johannesburg on the 30th of November at the FNB Stadium and one in Cape Town on the third of December.
Supporting Lady Gaga for the European and now South African leg of the tour is the newly reformed British rock band The Darkness, best known for their hit
I Believe In A Thing Called Love
. Lady Gaga’s longtime performance partner and DJ, Lady Starlight, has been confirmed as a special guest.

The Born This Way Ball is Lady Gaga’s first tour since the release of her album

, which has sold nearly six million copies worldwide since its release in May 2011. The album is the follow-up to back-to-back Grammy Award-winning albums 2009’s

Seated tickets start at R315 and all standing tickets are R715. Tickets will only be available at Computicket outlets and via the Computicket call center starting on Thursday, 21 June at 09:00 for Johannesburg, and Friday, 22 June at 09:00 for Cape Town.
Exclusive Tour packages including Early Entry ‘Government Hooker’ and Hot Tickets ‘Highway Unicorn’ will also be available for sale from www.computicket.com.
